What to do in Milan at night?

Milan is a city that offers many interesting events and experiences for spending an evening with friends or a romantic evening, perhaps right in the historic center of this beautiful city, managing to satisfy all tastes.
The Sforzesco Castle, for example, right in the city center, becomes a magical place in the evening; you can then continue your walk, passing through Sempione Park, along Corso Sempione, an avenue full of bars, clubs, and restaurants.

If you want to stay in this area, the most convenient B&B Hotel is the B&B Hotel Milano City Center Duomo, just 5 minutes' walk from the Sforzesco Castle, from the Cordusio, Cairoli (red line) stops and the Duomo underground (yellow/red line).

Milan at Night: The Movida Districts

  • The Navigli, the heart of the nightlife
  •  Brera, between art and chic
  • Garibaldi and Corso Como, for a night out clubbing (Loolapaloosa, Just Cavalli)
  • Isola district, renowned and trendy

Movida in Milan: The Navigli

Milan is teeming with places to spend an evening with company, but one area in particular is the Navigli area. By walking along the entire Corso di Porta Ticinese and passing in front of the famous "columns" – a meeting point for young Milanese – you will arrive in Porta Genova, the "customs" through which to access the picturesque world of the Navigli. This area, so romantic and peaceful at sunset, transforms into the ultimate meeting place for all Milanese revelers.

If you want to stay in this area, the most convenient B&B Hotel is the B&B Hotel Milano La Spezia, just 10 minutes' walk from the Navigli and the Romolo and Famagosta (green line) stops.

The Milanese Aperitivo

A true custom for every Milanese: the famous Happy Hour. During the week, Milanese people are always busy with their work and other commitments, which is why they resort to a relaxing aperitivo with friends or, more often, with some work colleagues. For an average of ten euros, you too can enjoy a cocktail (generally alcoholic) and eat whatever you want from the buffet served during the aperitivo, for a truly fashionable appointment!

Art for the More Radical and Chic: Exhibitions, Openings, and Vernissages

Milan is also a very active center for art. The renowned historic Brera Academy of Fine Arts is very famous, as are all the events related to the world of contemporary art. You will also find many more niche and, therefore, generally more "chic" events connected to the art world.

Theaters, Cinemas, and Concerts in Milan

If you are passionate about music, the Milanese capital is one of the most famous cities for concerts of both Italian and international relevance. Venues like Cicco Simonetta (Sant'Agostino area) or Salumeria della Musica (Abbiategrasso area) are live music venues. If you prefer to listen to more "mainstream" music, Alcatraz, Fabrique, Assago Forum, and Circolo Magnolia are just some of the venues that have excellent music programming.
And then there are cinemas and theaters with rich schedules and programming of great shows, ready to thrill and entertain the audience in the hall.
