This is arguably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It was clean but basic, but that was not the issue. We booked with easyJet holidays as a package, and was fine. We arrived at the hotel around 11pm due to our late flight time plus delays. When we arrived at the hotel there was not a single member of staff around. You need a code to go in through the front door, which we did not have as we hadn’t checked in yet. Eventually, someone else staying in the hotel opened the door and invited us in. We were met with self check-in machines which required a last name and a reservation number. The only reservation number we had was the easyJet booking reference which did not work to allow us to check in. There was no staff, we couldn’t do anything. Eventually, after half an hour on the phone to easyJet who were actually so helpful, we managed to get the reservation number that we needed. We then got to the room, which was clean but basic. The bed itself was comfy, but the pillows literally felt like a couple feathers. There was absolutely nothing to them, they were paper thin and so uncomfy. Obviously there was no staff, so we couldn’t get more pillows so had to put up with it the first night and eventually got some more the second night. I would not recommend arriving in Berlin on a Sunday, especially at night. We needed to buy toiletries and water for the room and there were no shops open. There was a vending machine in the foyer, which cost 2,50€ for a small carton of water. On top of this, the vending machine door was stuck so after 10 minutes of jamming and jiggling the machine we eventually got our water. Hotel was not good, do not recommend this, and realistically don’t entirely recommend the city either. On top of it all, the temperature in the room was unreal. It was SO warm, it was deadly. The air conditioning was not functional at all, and for any cool air we had to open the window wide, which we couldn’t do during the night due to being on a busy main road. For what it was, the location was decent and nearby to local public transport, not ideal if you prefer walking but we are mostly public transport.

Mein Bett wsr etwas durchgelegen und ich finde den Preis eher hoch. Ansonsten war alles perfekt! Freundliches Personal, solides Frühstück, bestes Wifi, Lage tiptop.
