Comfortable room, but check-in/check-out could be improved
Checking in was odd as the reception was closed at 16:00 (which we were informed about), so we had to do so in a machine. I wanted to print the code but it was out of paper and the machine stopped displaying it -- fortunately I had previously asked to send it to my email. I checked out at 11:30, which just meant walking out as the reception was also closed. But not before I was pestered twice by two different employees (at around 9:30 and 11:00), both knocking and opening the room door asking when we planned to check out (check-out time is 12:00). The experience at check-in and check-out could definitely be improved, I didn't exactly feel welcomed. The room itself was good. Clean, modern and comfortable, including a queen size bed, impeccable air conditioning, and a hair dryer. I didn't hear any noise from other rooms. This is the primary reason for the high rating as room quality is by far the most important to me. The only upgrade I'd do would be adding a mini-fridge. Price is OK considering it's high season at the French Riviera. Location is not bad either; it's mandatory to have a car, but at least you get Lidl and Aldi at walking distance and plenty of parking. Drive is 5-10 minutes to Sainte Maxime which is alright.
