Bien qu'arrivée tardivement, j'ai eu l'occasion d'échanger dès le lendemain matin avec le personnel présent sur place. Souriants, conviviaux et chaleureux, ils étaient très agréables et prompts à renseigner sur tous sujets concernant l'hôtel en lui-même mais également les extérieurs et les alentours, idéal quand on a fait 714 km et qu'on ne connaît pas encore la région ni la ville. Je tiens à les remercier particulièrement pour cet excellent contact et les échanges que j'ai eu avec eux. Je leur souhaite le meilleur et je sais d'avance que lorsque je reviendrais du côté de Freyming-Merlebach, j'irais leur rendre visite.

Freyming-Merlebach was formed in 1971 when two neighbouring communes from Germany and France joined together. It then became an important industrial city between 1905 and 1940 thanks to its many mining facilities, which shaped and urbanised the city.
