Hotels in Benidorm | B&B HOTELS, 1 hotel

Benidorm is the main tourist centre on the Costa Blanca. It is a 38 minute drive from Alicante and if you are travelling from another city in Spain, such as Madrid or Barcelona, the quickest option is to fly to Alicante and take a car from there, as it is about 40 minutes from the heart of the coastal city. There are also other interesting options that connect Benidorm with the rest of Spain, by car for example it takes four and a half hours travelling from Madrid and less than five hours from Barcelona. But, apart from its location, Benidorm stands out for its beaches, for its leisure and for its lively life that makes everyone who visits this place fall in love with it. So, if you are thinking about this mythical Spanish holiday destination, the new B&B HOTEL Finestrat is the most economical and attractive option.

What to know about Benidorm?

As we have already mentioned, it is the centre and tourist heart of the Costa Blanca and this means that there is a lot to see and do in this Alicante city. But, if there is one thing that stands out, and really captivates, it is its beaches. The quality of its waters and the tranquillity of the Mediterranean Sea in this place is highly recommended. From the popular Levante beach, the most visited, to the Poniente beach in the old town, Benidorm's coastline is one to fall in love with.

And if you're looking for something even more authentic and special in Benidorm and its beaches, don't hesitate to visit the Mal Pas beach, a small cove which can be accessed from the port via a staircase leading down from the castle. It will undoubtedly be a very authentic experience to enjoy more of the mythical city.

If you want to enjoy a day in the town, beyond the sun and the beach, the old town of Benidorm is highly recommended. With incredible views of the Costa Blanca, the atmosphere of this place makes it totally unique. From Punta Canfali and the core of the old fishing village, this is a must on your trip to Benidorm.

But when it comes to views, the Balcony of the Mediterranean will captivate you, so much so that this is the most mythical place in the city. And if what you want is to see the city from above, to see its buildings for those who call it the New York of the Mediterranean, the viewpoint of La Cruz is a great option that will fascinate you and will give you incredible views for those Instagram photos that we love so much.

And if you're looking for activity, Benidorm's flea markets are another story. The Rastro de Benidorm flea market and the Cisne flea market offer all kinds of second-hand goods, an ideal place to pick up a souvenir, or a complete bargain.

Finally, we couldn't fail to mention Terra Mítica and Aqualandia. The former is one of the most famous amusement parks in Spain, the latter is one of the largest water parks in Europe. Adrenaline will be served in either version.

A gastronomy to enjoy

It is not only the views, the beaches and the activities that are outstanding in Benidorm. But so is its gastronomy. The arroz a banda, so typical of the place, is one of the most famous of the rich Spanish gastronomy. Other lesser known dishes, such as pebrot is very famous for cooking dolphinfish, one of the most difficult fish to find in the world. And if you want sweets, the San Blas cakes will delight those with a sweet tooth.
