The Alps

There is a lot for you to see in the southern Allgäu: in addition to a breathtaking mountain panorama, gentle chains of hills with green meadows and numerous lakes and bodies of water await your eyes here. The picturesque natural landscape has already enchanted King Ludwig II, so that he built his famous fairy-tale castle Neuschwanstein nearby.

In summer you can explore the region on the numerous cycling and hiking trails. In winter, extensive winter hiking trails, cross-country skiing trails and toboggan runs await you. If you keep your eyes open, you will discover numerous castles, palaces, churches and fantastic vantage points on your expeditions.
