Hotel confortable et bien situé près de la gare et du centre ville

Sehr schlecht geschlafen

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern ein Familienzimmer für zwei Übernachtungen gebucht. Die Zimmergrösse ist grenzwertig. Der Raum ist sehr schlecht gelüftet, ein öffnen der Fenster durch den Verkehrslärm der Hauptstraße und des nahen Bahnhofs keine Option. Gegen zwei Uhr Nachts kamen betrunkene Gäste ins Hotel, die im Zimmer unter uns extrem laut waren. Wir haben so schlecht geschlafen , dass wir die zweite Übernachtung storniert haben und abgereist sind. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption hat dies gleichgültig zur Kenntnis genommen. Ich kann dieses Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen!

Lieber Herr H., vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung – auch wenn sie mehr wie ein Abschiedsbrief an ein Ferienhaus in der Toskana klingt als wie Feedback zu einem Stadthotel direkt am Hauptbahnhof Mönchengladbach. Unsere Familienzimmer sind – wie in allen B&B HOTELS deutschlandweit – kompakt, funktional und ausgestattet mit Klimaanlage, eigenem Bad, TV, Schreibtisch, Heizung und schallisolierten Fenstern. Ja, Sie haben richtig gelesen: schallisoliert – aber eben nur bei geschlossenen Fenstern. Wer das Fenster Richtung Hauptstraße und Bahnhof offen lässt und dann über den Lärm klagt, ist möglicherweise im falschen Genre unterwegs. Dass es gegen 2 Uhr morgens laut wurde, weil andere Gäste die Nacht zum Tag gemacht haben – keine Frage, das ist nervig. Was uns aber nicht nervt, sondern schlicht hilft: eine kurze Info, damit wir eingreifen können. Unsere 24/7-Notfallnummer hängt nicht zur Dekoration an der Rezeption – sondern genau für solche Fälle. Und nein: Unser Kollege an der Rezeption war nicht gleichgültig – aber was hätte er tun sollen? Das Hotel versetzen? Die Zeit zurückdrehen und die lauten Gäste nachts verwarnen? Was hätte er am Morgen danach noch machen können, wenn Sie ja schon entschieden hatten, abzureisen? Sie haben sich entschieden, die zweite Nacht zu stornieren – das ist natürlich Ihr gutes Recht. Nur ist es dann auch unser gutes Recht, das hier nicht als Hotelversagen, sondern als Kommunikationsproblem zu verbuchen. Fazit: Ohne Mitwirkung keine Nachbesserung. Ohne Info kein Eingreifen. Und ohne geschlossene Fenster leider kein Lärmschutz. Wir wünschen Ihnen, dass Ihre nächste Hotelwahl besser zu Ihren Erwartungen passt. Directions to Mönchengladbach hotel

From the A44/Krefelder Str.: Turn right into Hindenburgstr (through the underpass), and then at the intersection of Hindenburgstr./Bellstieg/Breitenbachstr (approx. 700m, at Electro Schaffrath) turn left into Breitenbachstr.

From the A61: Exit (10) Mönchengladbach-Nordpark direction MG-HARDT. Follow the signs for MG-ZENTRUM. Turn left into Waldnieler Str./B230, keep to the left on Fliethstr./B230/B59 and turn left onto Rathenaustr./L116. Turn right onto Erzbergerstr/K1 and left onto Lürriper Str., then take the second left onto Breitenbachstr.

From the A52: Exit (8) Mönchengladbach-Nord direction Viersen. Continue on the L116, take a left onto Goebenstr., then turn right onto Hindenburgstr./K13. Turn right onto Breitenbachstraße.

From the main train station: (Exit „Platz der Republik“): 4 minutes on foot. Bus routes 6, 8, 29 or 31 to the Vitusbad stop.
