The B&B Hotel Göttingen-City is located between the Georg-August-University Göttingen and Göttingen’s main train station. A perfect starting point for exploring the city and its 1000 years of history. There is much to discover, from the Gänseliesel fountain to the botanical gardens and the old town hall. "Our excursion tip: A nice walk over the city wall, which leads around the old town of Göttingen. From the city wall you can get back to the old town or pedestrian zone or other sights from several places."

Location

The hotel is conveniently located, so the location also offers the opportunity to explore surrounding regions. The train station is 600m away from the hotel, making it as easily accessible as the university, which is 500m away. The market square with the famous Gänseliesel is about 1 km away from the hotel.

Facilities

The B&B Hotel Göttingen-City offers guests a total of 102 air-conditioned rooms. Family rooms are also available for families at the guest house. These are all equipped with a flat-screen TV, desk and wardrobe. Soundproofed windows ensure a peaceful night’s sleep. In the bathroom, you’ll find a shower, toilet, hairdryer and a wash basin.

Super séjour

Breakfast hours

On Sundays your breakfast opens at 7.30. This is too late for us as we must leave by this time.

Directions to Hotel Göttingen City

From the A7: Exit 72-Göttingen-Nord towards Göttingen-Nord/Bovenden/Duderstadt, take the right lane to the B3 exit in the direction of Göttingen-Lutteranger/Northeim, continue on B3, turn right onto Im Rinschenrott, continue straight on Maschmühlenweg, turn left at Hildebrandstraße - the hotel is on the right after 240 m.

Alternatively A7 from the south: Take exit 73-Göttingen, turn right towards Göttingen-Rosdorf on B3/Kasseler Landstraße, then left onto Bahnhofsallee, right onto Maschmühlenweg - the hotel is on the right. 

Bus/Train: from Göttingen main station about 750 m walk, or regional bus 185 towards Ebergötzen to Platz der Göttinger Sieben (University), 350 m walk to the hotel.
