I recently stayed at the B&B Hotel in Braunschweig for a single night while attending a wedding in the area. Traveling alone and arriving quite late, I must first commend the hotel's efficient and appreciated automatic check-in system, which made my late arrival completely stress-free. The room itself was remarkably quiet, which was a huge plus, ensuring a restful night's sleep despite the busy schedule. In the morning, the provided breakfast was satisfactory and a great convenience before heading out. Furthermore, the brief interaction I had with the hotel staff was pleasant, and they were very kind. Overall, the hotel successfully served its primary function as a quiet, accessible place to sleep for a short, functional trip. However, there were significant drawbacks concerning the room’s cleanliness that must be addressed. Specifically, the shower room was disappointing. I noted visible mould in the corners of the shower, and the air ventilation unit was noticeably dusty, suggesting a lapse in deep cleaning protocols. Additionally, finding no available parking spaces upon arrival was a major inconvenience, especially given my late check-in time. In conclusion, the B&B Hotel Braunschweig excels in functionality—it offers a quiet room, a useful automated system, and an adequate breakfast. I would recommend it for similar short, purpose-driven stays where location and a place to rest are the main priorities. Based on my experience and the lack of certain amenities or attention to detail in room maintenance, I would not consider this hotel for a longer, leisure, or family stay where guests might spend more time relaxing inside the hotel. It is a strictly practical accommodation option.

Nettes Personal, gerne wieder
Wir waren wiederholt in Braunschweig im B&B und hatten wie jedes Mal nichts zu beanstanden. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ausreichend ausgestattet und das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr gern wieder!
Wir hatten eine Überraschung gebucht, da wir auf einem Konzert in der Nähe waren. Waren rundum zufrieden. Das war unser erster Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, aber sicherlich nicht der Letzte.

Please enter the following address into your GPS to locate the hotel: Wilhelmitorwall 23, 38122 Braunschweig. Cross over the bridge, and the hotel will be on the right-hand side (behind the bridge).
We offer parking in the hotel’s underground car park (subject to availability). The underground car park is on Frankfurter Strasse. To get there, turn right at the traffic lights and drive parallel to the hotel building. In 150 metres, you’ll see the entrance on the right-hand side marked by a sign displaying “Büro, Hotel”. Once inside the car park, follow the signs towards the hotel’s designated parking area. You’ll need an entry code, which you’ll receive upon check-in either at reception or via the check-in machine. The room code is the same as the car park entry code.
Motorway
Keep right at the fork, then continue on the A39 and follow the signs for Berlin/Wolfsburg/Braunschweig/Salzgitter. Use either of the two right-hand lanes to take exit A391 towards Hannover/Lünerburg/Bs-Gartenstadt/Zentrum. Take Exit 7-BS-Gartenstadt towards BS-Gartenstadt/Zentrum. Continue onto Frankfurter Strasse Street, and then turn right onto Theodor-Heuss-Straße. Turn left onto the Holzhof, and then turn right at the old train station onto Zielstraße.
Bus/train
Tram lines 5 and 3 stop at “Braunschweig Luisenstraße”, as does bus no. 461. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from here. You can also get off at stop “Braunschweig Europaplatz”. Lines 461, 601, 603, 620 and 631 stop here.
