If you’re looking for an affordable stay right in the city, you’ve found the right place. During your stay you can visit the Arkaden Castle, which is a faithful replica of the original Braunschweig Castle. We back up our customer guarantee with inexpensive rooms and free extras at the B&B HOTEL Braunschweig-City. You are close to Dankwarderode Castle, which is worth a visit at Christmas with its Christmas market. Afterwards it is worthwhile to eat a tarte flambée in the restaurant Le Feu, with French German cuisine.

Location

The house is located on Frankfurter Str. and can be reached from the train station by public transport in just 11 minutes. Numerous sights and landmarks are within easy reach. Here are some examples: The Volkswagen Halle Arena is only a 10-minute walk away, while the city centre is only a kilometre away on foot or by train. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the Duomo, as well as from the Castle Arcades. A few minutes walk away you will find a park with a small lake. Here you can go for a walk or enjoy the sun. Alle Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren wirklich super nett. Dafür ein dickes Dankeschön! 💐 Wir waren auf Grund eines Konzertbesuches in Braunschweig und hatten zwei Übernachtungen inkl. Tiefgaragenparkplatz gebucht. Hatten dann beim Einchecken noch kurzfristig Frühstück für Sonntag dazugebucht. Alles kein Problem. Die Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage sind sehr großzügig, so dass man auch mit einem modernen Kombi keine Platzprobleme hat. Sollten wir nochmal nach Braunschweig für ein Wochenende, würde ich dort wieder buchen.

Insgesamt gutes Zimmer in guter Lage. Leider war die Bettwäsche sowie die Handtücher befleckt, der Föhn extrem klebrig und vom Vorbesucher noch Bierflaschen in dem Zimmer versteckt. Auch bei erneuter (erbetener) Reinigung und präsentem Hinstellen der Flaschen wurden diese nicht aufgeräumt oder der Föhn ausgetauscht/gesäubert. Sonst in Ordnung!

Directions to the B&B HOTEL Braunschweig-City

Please enter the following address into your GPS to locate the hotel: Wilhelmitorwall 23, 38122 Braunschweig. Cross over the bridge, and the hotel will be on the right-hand side (behind the bridge).

We offer parking in the hotel’s underground car park (subject to availability). The underground car park is on Frankfurter Strasse. To get there, turn right at the traffic lights and drive parallel to the hotel building. In 150 metres, you’ll see the entrance on the right-hand side marked by a sign displaying “Büro, Hotel”. Once inside the car park, follow the signs towards the hotel’s designated parking area. You’ll need an entry code, which you’ll receive upon check-in either at reception or via the check-in machine. The room code is the same as the car park entry code.

Motorway

Keep right at the fork, then continue on the A39 and follow the signs for Berlin/Wolfsburg/Braunschweig/Salzgitter. Use either of the two right-hand lanes to take exit A391 towards Hannover/Lünerburg/Bs-Gartenstadt/Zentrum. Take Exit 7-BS-Gartenstadt towards BS-Gartenstadt/Zentrum. Continue onto Frankfurter Strasse Street, and then turn right onto Theodor-Heuss-Straße. Turn left onto the Holzhof, and then turn right at the old train station onto Zielstraße.

Bus/train

Tram lines 5 and 3 stop at “Braunschweig Luisenstraße”, as does bus no. 461. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from here. You can also get off at stop “Braunschweig Europaplatz”. Lines 461, 601, 603, 620 and 631 stop here.
