I was looking for a hotel close to the train station, with a restaurant. B&B Hotel met my expectations. An added bonus was the friendliness of the staff, and the great bar and excellent food.

This hotel is over-priced by a large margin. The tv didn't work. When I reported this at the bar (there is no reception desk) I found myself standing next to another guest who was also reporting that the tv didn't work. Being offered another room wasn't a solution, as it wasn't hard to guess no tv in the hotel was working. The girl at the bar told me it was something to do with German IT servers and that the remote controls weren't synced to the tv's. I see from other reviews that the tv not working was first reported some weeks ago. It is difficult to imagine why a corporation would launch a new brand of hotel without checking first whether basic amenities guests now expect were actually working. By way of compensation the girl did offer a refund of the cost of breakfast. 48 hours later there is no sign of a refund to my account. (The hotel will not handle cash). As for breakfast, the area is small with limited space to move around to actually get at the food. A traffic light system for guests to enter the area might help. There were no plates for toast. I spent a week in Scotland at a different hotel each night. This hotel was the most expensive by £50. It was the worst hotel of the week. The hotel is called B&B. Those letters might well stand for "Bargain" and "Basement" but the cost would belie that this hotel is a bargain. Give it a miss, but if you must bring a book or do your Sudoku for the evening.

I stayed at B & B Hotels in Inverness. An interruption in my travel plans resulted in having to book last minute. I chose this hotel and I’m so happy I did. The check in was seamless and hotel was wonderful. My son and mom were travelling with me and they both enjoyed their stay as well. My son, especially liked the games and lounge in the lobby area. He said this was his favourite stay in Scotland.
