The B&B Hotel Offenbach – ideal for businesspeople visiting the Rhine-Main region

 

Offenbach am Main is one of the most important centres for the services industry, and is known for its education institutions with an emphasis on design. In addition to industry, Offenbach has much else to offer around its marketplace, with a terrific inner-city and various opportunities to shop and explore. A pleasant evening in Offenbach could be rounded off with a walk along the Main.

Location

The B&B Hotel Offenbach-Süd is conveniently located in the south of the city, close to the Offenbach intersection of the A3 and A661. Frankfurt airport is just 17 km away. Offenbach’s main train station is 2.1 km away and the town centre and pedestrianised zone are about 3 km away. Bus routes 106 and 661 will bring you to the main train station in Offenbach. From there, you can take the S-Bahn train into Frankfurt’s city centre. Frankfurt isn’t the only nearby city that is readily accessible, you are also within easy reach of Bad Homburg, Darmstadt and Hanau. The hotel is also close to the Sana Klinikum hospital.

Our 74 modern and well-equipped rooms provide comfortable beds, a desk, TV and a bathroom including a shower, glass shower-screen, earthenware washbasin, hair-dryer, large mirror and modern lighting. Das Hotel geht gar nicht.

Ich erwarte nur das eigentlich selbstverständliche, ein sauberes Zimmer und Bad mit vernünftigem, gewaschenem Bett in einer sicheren Umgebung. Der Aufenthalt war eine Katastrophe und wenn man sich die Google Bewertungen durchliest, war es auch kein Einzelfall. Im Bett überall Haare, man konnte nicht sagen ob es nur glatt gezogen oder gewaschen war, die restliche Bettwäsche ebenfalls. Der Tisch klebrig und mit Flecken. Das Bad genauso. Irgendwas ist in diesem Zimmer gemacht worden, aber definitiv nicht, so wie man es als Gast erwarten darf. Kein Ansprechpartner vor Ort oder telefonisch zu erreichen. Die Küchentür geöffnet, dreckig, überall steht Zeugs rumm offene 1-Liter Milch Packs. Der Empfangsbereich dreckig, chaotisch. Der gesamte Eindruck war nicht einladend. Die Gegend und die Personen die dort rumliefen und sogar teilweise im Hotel waren, haben es nicht angenehmer gemacht, eher im Gegenteil. Die Tür war zumindest zwischen 22:00 und 23:00 Uhr für alle geöffnet und kein Personal oder Sicherheitsdienst vor Ort. Sichert wenigstens den Eingangsbereich und stellt dort sichtbar Kameras hin. Habe dann Nachts noch ein anderes Zimmer organisiert und das Hotel gewechselt. Am nächsten Tag wollte ich das vor Ort klären. Der Mitarbeiter sagte mir, er könne nichts machen und der Manager käme vielleicht gegen Mittag. Vielen Dank für nichts, das Geld ist weg. Mit B&B bin ich generell sehr zufrieden und von daher hoffe ich, das die Bewertung etwas bewirkt und der Betreiber stärker kontrolliert wird.

Es ist noch Luft nach oben.

Ein ruhiges Haus. Kaffee, Getränke, Snacks waren vorhanden. Kollege an der Rezeption war sehr aufmerksam.
