gutes Standard Hotel für 1-2 Nächte, Parksituation für Gehbehinderte und Rollstuhlfahrer leider nicht gut
Trotz extra bezahltem Early CI waren Zimmer noch nicht fertig, Kopfkissen fehlten, kostenloses Wasser fehlte. Nicht dramatisch, aber nervig, da ich mich ausruhen wollte. Sky funktionierte trotz Werbung dafür nicht. Als Rollstuhlfahrer ist ein Behindertenparkplatz wichtig, für welchen ich sogar bezahlt habe. Leider war dieser ständig mit nicht behinderten Gästen oder gar Mitarbeitern besetzt. Musste auf einem Supermarktparkplatz parken. Die Kamera vor dem Parkplatz macht nur Sinn, wenn man diese auch ab und zu nutzt bzw. kontrolliert.

Guter Service.
Ich kann das Hotel B & B Hotel Köln-West nur empfehlen und werde weiterhin dort buchen. Sehr einfache Buchung und Zahlung über die App. Zugangsdaten und Rechnung werden mir unaufgefordert per E-Mail zugeschickt. Dies macht vor allem das B & B Hotel Köln-West stets hervorragend. Ein Grund für mich in Köln dieses Hotel zu bevorzugen. Zimmer stets sauber und alles dort, was man braucht. Es gibt eine große Supermarkt-Kette in unmittelbarer Nähe. So kann man sich perfekt Verpflegen. Danke.

Great value and comfort
Clean, well kept hotel, easy checking, friendly staff, parking and EV parking available, perfect location close to highway and 5min to large shopping mall, great value for the price, would definitely be back.

Getting to the hotel
By car:
From Aachen take the A4 to Köln-West junction (10), from Düsseldorf take the A57 to Köln-Nord junction (28) and then follow the A1 direction south to the Köln-West junction (10), or from Frankfurt take the A3 to Köln-Heumar junction (28) then A4 to the Köln-West junction (10). From here take the A1 direction south and then exit at the first junction on the B264, then turn immediately left onto Max-Planck-Str.
From Koblenz take the A61 to Erftstadt then A1 to Köln-West junction (104), take the exit direction Frechen, at the traffic lights continue straight ahead on Max-Planck-Str. until the roundabout, take the second exit and continue on Max-Planck-Str. for approx 600m, and the hotel is on the left hand side. There are parking spaces directly outside the hotel.
Bus/train: From the main train station, take the U-Bahn 18 or 16 direction Bonn to Neumarkt, then continue above ground with tram number 7 direction Frechen to Köln-Marsdorf, then on foot for 1km via Horbeller Str., left onto Dürener Str., and take the first right into Max-Planck-Str. The journey takes about 45 minutes.

From 1 July 2024, the City of Cologne's overnight accommodation tax will apply to all forms of overnight accommodation, regardless of whether the overnight stay is absolutely necessary for business purposes or not.
It is no longer necessary to provide information on the purpose of the trip when checking in using a form
The tax rate is 5 per cent on the price of the overnight stay.
There are some exceptions. The following are exempt from taxation:
- People who are dependent on temporary accommodation in an accommodation establishment because they have lost their home due to fire or water damage, for example.
- Refugees who are assigned accommodation in accommodation establishments.
- School trips authorised by the school management
Overnight stays of persons due to medically necessary treatment and necessary accompanying persons upon request.
