The multi-faceted harbour city on the German North Sea coast offers plenty of leisure options, thanks to its location right on the water and many cultural sights. Bremerhaven is famous for its shipbuilding expertise, as well as its research and manufacturing centres, for example in the off-shore wind energy industry. Bremerhaven is also regarded as a scientific centre, and is home to the famous Alfred-Wegener-Institute for Polar and Marine research. The surrounding area around Bremerhaven also offers attractive options. The town of Cuxhaven, located on the North Sea coast, can also be reached within half an hour.

Location

B&B HOTEL Bremerhaven is located right next to the new harbour, making it a great starting point for walks or cycling along the River Weser and seeing the sights. Tourist highlights, such as the Deutsche Auswanderer Haus and the Columbus Centre, are within a few minutes’ walk of the hotel. The hotel is therefore perfectly suited as a holiday accommodation for a maritime adventure or short vacation.

Eine runde Sache👌🤩

Ich war zum zweiten Mal innerhalb von 2 Wochen in dem Hotel - und es ist mein zukünftiger Anlaufpunkt, wenn ich wieder in BHV bin. Von der Buchung über Check-In(beim zweiten Mal über Terminal) bis zum Check-Out, alles perfekt gelaufen. Sehr freundliche und kompetente Angestellte - hierfür ein großes Lob. Zimmer inkl. Bad waren sehr sauber und die Betten bequem. Es gab ein umfangreiches Frühstücksangebot - auch mit Bio-Produkten. Ich kann das Hotel (sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis) bestens empfehlen.

Wir waren recht zufrieden mit diesem Hotel, die Matratzen sind aber viel zu weich.

From the A27: Take the exit for Bremerhaven-Mitte-Bremerhaven-Zentrum (7), continue on Grimsbystraße/B212, keep left and stay on Grimsbystraße/B212, turn right onto Barkhausenstraße, and the hotel is on the left after 100 m.

Alternatively from the south via the B6, keep left at Elbinger Platz and continue on Columbusstraße, go straight on Barkhausenstraße, and the hotel is on the left.

Private parking is available at B&B HOTEL Bremerhaven.

Bus / train: From Bremerhaven Central Station/ZOB take bus 502 (towards Leherheide West) or 506 (towards Leherheide Ost) to Bremerhaven Lloydstraße/VHS, alternatively take the HL line towards Rotersand to Bremerhaven Querstraße/Stäwog.
