B&B HOTEL Milano Aosta
Good stay, great view and location
The hotel was very close to the train station and as it was our first time in Milan we were given rooms with a view of the wonderful train station. I liked that you could open the window in the bedroom fully so that you can see everything outside clearly.
The room was a good size and a lot of space to put the luggage, good amount of plug sockets in good locations around the room. The bathroom needs updating but it functioned fine aside from the drain being a bit blocked.
The hotel overall seemed a bit depressing and dark and worn down. It was like someone has been hitting the walls/ doors/ furniture as things seemed damaged/ dented and old. The corridor where the rooms were was dark and seemed run down like going into a run down apartment building. The lifts took a long time, mainly around breakfast hours and one lift failed to arrive at all with no indicator if the lift was even moving. There was an old man who was waiting on the same floor for a very long time for a lift to arrive and we ended up experiencing the same a while after so we just took the stairs in the end which was ok for me and my sister. My parents managed to fit in the small lift with other people when it eventually arrived.
The reception staff were really friendly and nice and I liked that I was able to extend the checkout until 2pm for a 20 euro fee.
The breakfast was good and the breakfast staff were lovely and attentive. There was sufficient options for gluten and lactose free. As it is on the 8th floor you get a great view outside and can see the whole train station.

The hotel met expectations.
The hotel was excellent - it had a great location near the Lotto metro station, making it very quick and easy to get to the city center. The room was clean, and the towels and bed linen were fresh and smelled great. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and helpful, advising us on how to reach the center and how to use the Italian metro system. There was a large on-site parking lot available for an additional fee (€20). I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone.
