Na chegada ao hotel fomos bem recebidos pela recepcionista que nos deu toda a informação e um kit de boas vindas. O quarto era espaçoso e agradável. O facto de o quarto ter uma kitchenette é sempre útil para uma refeição rápida e tranquila. Pena que o sistema de ventilação tenha sido um pouco ruidoso. Tudo limpo. Casa de banho com espaço. Bom pequeno almoço. Boa relação preço qualidade. Acima de tudo funcionários prestáveis e profissionais.

We stayed at B&B HOTEL Caen Mémorial as a family of two adults and two children. The room was clean, comfortable, and suitable for our family.
The hotel is conveniently located for visiting the main Normandy attractions, including Bayeux, Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery, Pointe du Hoc, and Mont-Saint-Michel. It was also easy to access by car.
The free parking was a big advantage for us, especially as we were travelling by car. The hotel was also reasonably priced compared with some of the other accommodation options in the area.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall we had a pleasant stay.

For the price we paid, we felt the hotel provided good value for money. It is a simple hotel rather than a luxury property, but the room was clean, comfortable, and practical for a family travelling around Normandy. I would consider staying here again when visiting the Normandy area.

Lovely hotel, but Wi-Fi barely worked in room 210 and cellular signal (free operator) was super week 2 out 4
A very pleasant and beautiful hotel with many advantages and, overall, probably a good balance between price and quality.
The only real issue was the Wi-Fi in our room. The connection was extremely unstable and kept dropping, forcing our phones to switch back to 5G. Unfortunately, the mobile signal was also quite poor in the room — with Free, we were getting only around 2 out of 4 bars — so the internet speed was usually no more than 1–5 Mbps.
I’m sorry, but in 2026, especially in a brand-new modern hotel, this feels completely unacceptable and honestly quite strange. It is particularly surprising that the Wi-Fi coverage in room 210 on the second floor was not good enough to provide even a stable 15–20 Mbps connection. I’m not even talking about higher speeds — just a basic, stable connection should not be difficult to provide.
Apart from that, the room was clean, comfortable and excellent overall, and the welcome kit was also a very nice touch. I can genuinely recommend this hotel. The main thing that needs to be fixed is the Wi-Fi; once that is improved, the overall experience will be much better.
One more question is why the Wi-Fi requires such a complicated login and password system, especially when the authorization seems to expire every few hours. It just creates unnecessary extra inconvenience for guests.

A small agglomeration during the Gallo-Roman era, Caen began to develop in the seventh century. In the 10th century, following the invasions, the duchy of Normandy began to flourish.
