Zwischenstopp auf Rückreise
Wir nutzen oft die Hotels von B&B auf unseren Reisen um Zwischenstopps einzulegen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis finden wir sehr gut. Super ist, dass man bis 19 Uhr stornieren kann und somit nochmal umbuchen kann, wenn doch noch etwas dazwischen kommen sollte. Dies funktioniert wirklich problemlos. Auf unserer letzten Reise mussten wir auch Umbuchungen vornehmen, da unsere Fähre auf dem Hin -und Rückweg um je einen Tag verschoben wurde.
In dem B&B in Caen waren wir das 1.Mal. Wir hatten online eingecheckt, da wir erst gegen 23 Uhr ankamen. Das Einchecken ging problemlos. Der Code für das Einfahrtstor, den Eingang und das Zimmer wurde uns vorher online zugeschickt.
Als wir in unserem Zimmer in der 2. Etage ankamen, fanden wir allerdings leider ein Zimmer vor, was nach der Benutzung unseres Vorgängers noch nicht gereinigt wurde.
Wir gingen zurück in die Lobby und vor dem Eingang war eine Sprechanlage, bei der man auf einen Knopf drücken musste um mit jemandem verbunden zu werden. Ich schilderte das Problem und kurz darauf kamen 2 Angestellte, um das Zimmer zu reinigen und die Betten neu zu beziehen. Die Dame sagte uns, wir sollen uns bitte vormittags bei ihr melden. Nachdem das Zimmer für uns nach ca. einer halben Stunde hergerichtet war, konnten wir gut schlafen. Morgens als wir wieder in die Lobby kamen und die Angestellte aufsuchten, sagte sie uns, dass wir den Zimmerpreis zurück erstattet bekommen werden. Auch das Frühstück brauchten wir nicht bezahlen. Mit so viel Entgegenkommen hatten wir wirklich nicht gerechnet.
Bei einem erneuten Zwischenstopp in Caen würden wir jederzeit wieder hier im B&B übernachten.

Seule chose à signaler, l hauteur très forte du produit d entretien utilisé pour faire la chambre. Cela m a gênée pour dormir. Le lendemain matin l odeur était encore très présente.

A small agglomeration during the Gallo-Roman era, Caen began to develop in the seventh century. In the 10th century, following the invasions, the duchy of Normandy began to flourish. This position only became stronger under the reign of William the Conqueror, who decided to fully transform the city of Caen. It is indeed there that he decided to establish the seat of his power.
