Too many problems with this hotel which is a shame when the bed was extremely comfortable. The self check-in is abysmal and 4 customers could not get the screen to work properly. When they and me eventually did, we had to wait outside in minus 4 degrees for 10 minutes to be sent the access code to get in. It's totally unacceptable. Then to make things worse, the coffee machine wouldn't take cards. I arrived at 2pm and reception was not open till 5pm. I wanted to book an additional room as me and my uncle and my little dog had booked a twin which was too small. I went to reception at 5pm to explain and was told a second room would cost nearly 10€ more than the first room as it was now late in the day! I protested but got nowhere. A final point which shocked me and confirmed that I will not use the hotel again was that a major fire door was propped open for my stay. After Grenfell in the UK and the nightclub fire on New Year's Eve in Switzerland I was horrified. It really is a shame as the receptionist was polite and helpful but clearly had no power in decisions re: charges etc and the bedding was super.

Thank you for your detailed review. We have carefully checked the full log of your stay and would like to correct several inaccurate statements. Our system shows that you started your self check-in at 14:04 and received your access code at 14:09. This means the waiting time was exactly 5 minutes, which is the normal processing time for the system to validate a booking and generate secure access codes. It was not 10 minutes, and certainly not an excessive delay. The reception opening time at 5:00 pm is clearly stated on our website and at the hotel. Before that time, check-in is handled via the automated terminal, which you used successfully. Regarding the price of an additional room, hotel rates are dynamic and depend on availability and demand at the time of booking. This applies to all hotels worldwide and is not a discretionary decision made by reception staff. Concerning the fire door: what you observed is a certified fire safety system. Fire doors are held open by electromagnetic devices during normal operation and are designed to close automatically when the fire alarm is triggered. This is exactly how modern fire-protection systems work in France, and is fully compliant with safety regulations. But maybe you don’t have automatically closing fire doors in the country you are from ? You mention Switzerland, but that disaster in Crans-Montana happened precisely because an emergency exit was blocked ! So please refrain from commenting on fire safety systems when you lack the necessary knowledge We regret that your overall experience did not meet your expectations, even though you highlighted the comfort of the bed and the professionalism of our staff. Première journée, très bien accueilli par la réceptionniste. Par contre le deuxième jour, le monsieur de la réception est venu frapper à 11h du matin lorsqu’on a le droit de partir à midi, il est venu dire des propos déplacer pas correct vis-à-vis de la clientèle

Concernant votre départ, notre collaborateur est passé à 11h10 uniquement pour savoir si vous souhaitiez prolonger votre séjour. L’heure de départ étant fixée à 12h, tout a été fait dans les règles, et nous ne vous avons en aucun cas réveillé, de même que nous ne vous avons pas demandé de partir. Par ailleurs, une odeur de cannabis a été constatée à l’ouverture de la porte de la chambre 025, ce qui explique l’échange à ce sujet. Vous avez d’ailleurs bien pris soin d’ouvrir la fenêtre pour aérer malgré les 1°C extérieurs, ce qui confirme le constat. Pour rappel, nos chambres sont strictement non-fumeurs, a fortiori en ce qui concerne la consommation de substances illicites. Nous regrettons que vous ayez choisi d’écourter votre séjour, mais nous nous devons de veiller au respect du règlement afin de garantir le confort et la tranquillité de l’ensemble de nos clients. Nous vous souhaitons une excellente journée.

  • What are the rental periods for a room? Can I arrive at the hotel at any time?

    Our rooms are rented from 14:00 to 12:00.

    If you opted for a booking guaranteed by bank card you can access your room at any time after 14:00 on the day you arrive.

    Outside of the hotel reception's opening hours, the interactive terminal at the hotel entrance will give you your room number and access code. Please remember to have your booking number and bank card ready for payment.

    If you opted for a booking without bank guaranty, your room is booked up to 7pm. The room may be sold to another guest if we have not heard from you before this time.
