What to see in Milan

Not just business and work. Contrary to common imagination, Milan is a city rich in points of interest and art places to visit.
Discover the ten B&B Hotels present in the city and choose the one that suits you best and will allow you to discover the beauties of Milan!

A walk starting from Piazza Duomo

One cannot but start from the symbol par excellence of the Lombard metropolis: the Duomo di Milano, a majestic testament to Gothic art whose beauty is further enhanced by the main spire where the famous Madonnina presides.
Two minutes from Piazza Duomo, you'll find Palazzo dell'Arengario with the Museo del Novecento and its 400 works of art. Staying on theme, just two metro stops away, is the Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, in whose refectory Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper is carefully preserved in particular environmental conditions to prevent damage to the artwork. To conclude the art tour, you must visit the Pinacoteca di Brera, a collection of works intended for the training of students of the Accademia di Belle Arti.
If you want to stay in this area, the most convenient B&B Hotel is the B&B Hotel Milano Sant'Ambrogio, just 3 minutes from the S. Ambrogio metro stop (green line).

Shopping in Milan

Let's remember that Milan is the world fashion capital! Enjoy a walk on Via Montenapoleone to continue along Corso Venezia and Via della Spiga, where you'll be enchanted by the beautiful shop windows of all the major international luxury brands.
No worries, if your shopping budget is a bit more limited, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is for you: the central street full of shops of all kinds that leads straight to the Duomo and the eponymous Gallery, nicknamed il salotto (the living room) and considered one of the most beautiful galleries in the world.
Passing through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele you arrive directly at Milan's Opera House, La Scala, where you will be able to visit the museum and the collection of costumes and stage instruments preserved inside.

Sforzesco Castle

Another must-see stop in the city is undoubtedly the Castello Sforzesco, another symbolic monument and home to several museums. Inside, a large garden extends, open to the public, where cultural events of various kinds are often organized. In addition to this, right outside the Castle, you will find Parco Sempione, the green heart of the Lombard capital. Walking nearby, you will find other famous buildings worth visiting such as the Civic Aquarium, the Triennale, the Arena Civica and the Arco della Pace.

Milanese nightlife

Last but not least, a typically Milanese tradition is certainly the aperitivo!
A moment to relax sipping a good glass of wine or a cocktail and nibbling on some savory snacks enjoying the company of friends, perhaps in front of a beautiful sunset.
Milan is full of bars and wine bars where you can experience this, but the Navigli area is among the most loved and frequented in the city, both by Milanese and tourists.
