2. Purposes and Legal Basis for Data Processing
The purposes are to exercise our domiciliary rights and to investigate criminal offenses. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interests lie in ensuring the protection of persons and property and in preventing and investigating criminal offenses, particularly theft and vandalism.
3. Data Recipients
As a matter of principle, data will not be transmitted. Data will only be passed on to law enforcement authorities if this is necessary in a specific case to enforce legal claims or to prosecute criminal offenses. The data is not transferred to a third country or to an international organization.
4. Storage Duration
The recordings are automatically deleted after 72 hours. A longer storage period only occurs if this is necessary in a specific case to enforce legal claims or to prosecute criminal offenses.
5. Your Rights
As a data subject, you have the following rights:
- Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR): You have the right to request information about the personal data processed about you. This right also includes a copy of the corresponding data. The restrictions according to § 34 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) apply. If an access request is not made in writing, please understand that we may ask for proof to verify that you are the person you claim to be.
- Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You have the right to demand the immediate rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you.
- Right to Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You have the right to demand the immediate erasure of your personal data if one of the reasons stated therein applies. The restrictions according to § 35 of the BDSG apply.
- Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data if one of the reasons stated therein applies.
- Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
- Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR): You have the right to object to the processing of your data at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, provided that the data processing is carried out based on a balancing of interests in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR.
- Right to Withdraw Consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR): According to Article 7 (3) of the GDPR, you generally have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for the processing of personal data at any time.
