In the south of Germany, not far from the French border, lies the town of Freiburg im Breisgau. The historic old town is particularly popular with visitors. A tour of the 16th- Century cathedral, the old town hall and the city gates should not be missed. B&B Hotel Freiburg-Süd is 10 minutes from the old town. The countryside of Breisgau has lots to offer. The numerous vineyards are great for walking and cycling tours.

B&B Hotel Freiburg-Süd has an ideal location – whether you’re travelling by car or by train, on a city break or a business trip. Within a 5 km radius, you can reach the motorway, the main train station, the city centre and the trade fair.

B&B Hotel Freiburg-Süd offers 102 rooms. You can choose between single, twin and family rooms. All rooms are air conditioned and come with soundproofed windows. You’ll find a TV, a USB charging point and a desk. The bathroom is tiled and comes with a shower, a WC, wash basin and a hairdryer.

We will be happy to prepare a crispy pizza for you. If you are more a fan of the simple Pizza Margherita or the spicy Diavolo, here every appetite will be satisfied. Simply order your pizza during the opening hours at our reception. Pets are welcome to stay. They can stay in your room for a small additional charge.

In addition, there is now new: an electric charging station from the provider ChargeOne for your electric car, directly at the hotel. Here you can find more information about our charging stations.

We are renovating for you.

From the beginning of November 2025 to the end of April 2026, we will be making our hotel even more beautiful and comfortable for you. Unfortunately, this cannot be done without renovation work. We apologise for any noise during the day. At night, you can of course continue to enjoy peace and quiet with us.

À chacune d. mes visites dans un Hòtel B&B est agréable. Les hôtels sont bien situés, propres, le personnel accueillant et souriant, et on ne manque d. rien.

We love staying at this hotel. The receptionists are all absolutely brilliant, helpful, polite and friendly and they went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. We have stayed at this hotel so many times and look forward to being back again soon. P S. Our only big disappointment is that the machine where one could get a warm drink, soup and similar during the evening and night has been taken away! Why?! We used it such a lot, and there is no way of getting a warm drink in the evenings or during the night Not good.

Ich hatte bereits geschäftliche Aufenthalte im B&B Süd. Die Renovierungsarbeiten sind erfolgreich gewesen und tragen zum besseren Wohlbefinden bei. Leider wurde vergessen das Hotel in der Barrierefreiheit zu verbessern, Hotel schwer zugänglich durch mechanische Türen und viel zu hoch angebrachtem Nachtzugangs-Terminal, Hotelzimmer schwer zugänglich durch schwer einsehbaren Türcodeöffner, Beschilderung und Beleuchtung in den Gängen sehr dürftig und spartanisch. In punkto Barrierefreiheit ist Luft nach oben. Dies hindert mich nicht an einer erneuten Buchung/Wiederkehr, bereits im Juni diesen Jahres.

Directions to Hotel Freiburg-Süd

From the north A5: Take exit 62 Freiburg-Mitte towards Freiburg on the B31a, exit towards Freiburg-St. Georgen/Freiburg-Rieselfeld and drive along Besanconallee, turn right on Munzinger Straße, after 80 m turn left to the B&B Hotel Freiburg-Süd.

From the south A5: Take motorway exit 63 Freiburg-Süd, follow the B31 towards Freiburg-Süd Tiengener Straße, at the roundabout take the first exit and via the slip road Donaueschingen/B31/FR-Stadtmitte follow the B3 to Besanconallee, take the exit towards Offenburg, turn left into Munzinger Straße, after 80 m turn left to the hotel.
