Wieder ein toller Aufenthalt
Zum dritten Mal voll und ganz zufrieden. Meine Tochter hat bei der Abreise ihren Schal im Zimmer vergessen, der uns völlig unkompliziert per Paketmarke zugeschickt wurde. Großen Dank noch dafür. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Unser erster B&B Besuch im Cuxhaven ![trustyou]()
Wir haben ein Doppelzimmer mit Rollstuhl und Hund gebucht. Das erste Zimmer was uns gezeigt wurde, hatte weder für Rollstuhl noch für Hund ausreichend Platz und ins Bad wäre ich gar nicht gekommen dafür hatte es aber zwei Betten. Zum Glück gab es noch ein richtiges Rolli-Zimmer was über genügend Platz verfügt und ein „richtiges“ Badezimmer hat (Türbreite für Rollstühle, ebenerdige Dusche, unterfahrbares Waschbecken, Haltegriffe neben der Toilette) Leider gab es in diesem Zimmer nur ein Bett (ca 140 cm) wo mein Mann über mich krabbeln musste, nachdem er mich hingelegt hat. Das Zimmer bot soviel Platz, dass mein Rollstuhl, als auch mein Hund ohne Probleme ihren Platz fanden. Die Türen in den Hotel gingen leider nicht allein auf, so dass ich auf Hilfe angewiesen war rein oder raus zu kommen. Das war sowohl bei der Eingangstür, bei der Tür auf unserem Flur und auch bei unserer Zimmertür so. Wir konnten mit unserem Hund zum Frühstück, allerdings haben wir in der Lobby gefrühstückt, da Hunde im Frühstücksraum nicht erwünscht sind. Das war völlig okay! Das Frühstück war einfach aber okay, man wurde satt. Es gab eine Kaffee- und eine Teeauswahl, Apfel- und Orangensaft, Brötchen, Brot, kleine süße Schnecken (Teilchen), Butter, Margarine, eine kleine Wurstauswahl, 2 verschiedene Käse Scheiben, Frischkäse, Honig und Nutella, Cornflakes, Müsli, sowie Tomaten, Gurken und Cornichons. Aus meiner Sicht als Rollstuhlfahrer: Ich kam leider nicht an das Brot, die Brötchen oder den Tee, da diese zu weit oben standen. Die Wurst und der Käse standen ziemlich weit hinten, da brauchte ich fast meine gesamte Armlänge, um da ran zu kommen. Was ich noch gut fand, man konnte sich einen To-go Becher geben lassen um sich ein Getränk mitzunehmen, leider passte der „Papierdeckel“ nicht auf den Pappbecher 🫣 oder wir haben uns zu doof angestellt 😉 Der Aufenthalt war für uns im Großen und Ganzen okay. Mit kleinen Mängeln aus meiner Sicht. Wenn man diese ändern würde, wäre das wirklich großartig und auch ich hätte einen wirklich entspannten Aufenthalt gehabt. Wenn ich allerdings ständig auf Hilfe angewiesen sein muss, ist das weniger entspannend 😉

Tolles Hotel mit gutem Frühstück
Die Lage des Hotels ist schön zentral. Eine Ladestation für E-Autos wäre noch eine weitere Möglichkeit, den Aufenthalt zu verbessern. Die Zimmer waren wie immer toll und das Frühstück war lecker. Schön war ebenfalls, das man Abends noch unten zusammen sitzen konnte.

The touristic tax is defined by the city of Cuxhaven and the amount is 2,75% of the gross cost incl. VAT. Business travelers are not affected by this tax.
