Location

The B&B HOTEL Leipzig-City is just a few minutes' walk from the most important sights in the city center. The Zoological Garden can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes. The Zoological Garden can be reached by streetcar from the main train station in just 3 stops in about 6 minutes. The B&B Hotel's proximity to the station is simply fantastic: as soon as you get off the train, you walk straight past the streetcar stops and directly into the city. After a few meters, you will find the B&B Hotel on the left-hand side.

The hotel is located in a pedestrian zone. This means you sleep in a very quiet environment. The Museum of Fine Arts, the Mädler-Passage, Auerbachs Keller, the Gewandhaus, the Nikolaikirche, Augustusplatz and many other sights are in the immediate vicinity of the B&B HOTEL Leipzig-City.

The B&B HOTEL Leipzig-Nord is located 8 km from the zoo and offers the advantage of being close to the A14 highway. It is also the perfect accommodation for visitors to the Leipzig Trade Fair, as the exhibition grounds are only around ten kilometers away.

Facilities

In addition to life-size dinosaurs, the many animal species and exciting adventure worlds, there are also adventurous playgrounds, a safari tour and a gold prospecting area for younger guests.

The boat trip on the jungle river in Gondwanaland is particularly exciting, where you can explore the history of the earth from mysterious angles. Educational fun for the whole family, and admission is even free for children under the age of six.

Pongoland is also a stop not to be missed. It is a unique facility for great apes. There is room here for chimpanzees, bonobos, gorillas and orangutans, which you can explore like a researcher from the Leipzig Max Planck Institute at several discovery stations.

Leipzig Zoo is one of the oldest in the world and one of the most popular attractions for families. In 1877, Ernst Pinkert began transforming his restaurant grounds into a private zoo. Over the years, the original two-hectare park has grown into a 23-hectare, species-rich zoo. Numerous events such as readings, puppet shows and zoo barbecues are also on offer.
