Your hotel near Leipzig Central Station

Leipzig is one of the most popular travel destinations in Saxony, with fabulous ratings in all travel guides. The multifaceted university city, which is primarily home to classical music, offers travelers not only culture and historical sights, but also unique trendy districts, lush green parks and hip bars and cafés. The practical thing about the infrastructure in Leipzig is that the terminus station is in the immediate vicinity of the city center, ensuring short distances for anyone arriving by train. This is not only appreciated by business travelers!

There are numerous hotels close to Leipzig station, but not all of them offer the same advantages. Some are too close to the rail network, which could disturb your sleep, while others do not offer a breakfast option. That's why it's important to find out exactly what's on offer in advance and filter the hotel selection according to your needs.

Why book a hotel at the main station?

This question is easy to answer if you know Leipzig. Leipzig Central Station is the largest terminus station in Europe and is very conveniently located: you don't have to search long for the city center, when you come out of the station you just have to walk straight ahead and you are already in the middle of the beautiful historic city center.

But it's not just the location to the center that is very practical. The station also has all the streetcar and bus connections that will take you all over the city and into the surrounding area. Even the airport is only about 25 minutes away from the station by S-Bahn or Intercity train. This means you only have short distances to the fastest means of transport when you arrive and depart, as well as during your stay.
