Tip of the hotel

During a walk along the Rhine, we recommend a visit to the Media Harbour. Through the collaboration of several star architects, a fascinating ensemble has been created at this location through the Gehry buildings and are considered one of Düsseldorf's new landmarks.

The Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus theatre is located around 1km from the B&B HOTEL Düsseldorf-City. The Königsallee is 1.4 km away, the Deutsche Oper is 1.7 km away and the Rhein embankment promenade is 2.2 km away. There are also excellent public transport connections - both an S-Bahn and a bus stop are just a few metres away.

You can reach the main station within a very short time. From there, international passenger trains, as well as regional connections, run to all parts of Germany.

The “Kö”

Probably the most famous shopping street in Germany, the Königsallee is only a stone's throw away from the old town and on your way there you may even have already crossed it. In the street, mainly shops from the fashion sector are lined up. Brands such as Louis Vuitton and many more have set up their branches here. The Kö, as the avenue is also affectionately called, is not for the small purse and houses practically only luxury boutiques.

However, you should not miss the chance to simply stroll on it. The imposing street, which is separated by the moat, is ideal for a long walk to Graf-Adolf-Platz or the Hofgarten. Or you can treat yourself to fashion of the finest quality in one of the many boutiques.

The trendy district of Pempelfort
