Great accommodation in the city on Lake Constance.

Directly on Lake Constance, the city of Konstanz is not just popular in summer. In addition to the old town, there are also lots of excursions you can take. The monastery island of Reichenau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000, can be reached by car in 10 minutes. The garden island of Mainau, 15 minutes away, is also a popular destination. We hope you enjoy exploring the region! 

Location

B&B Hotel Konstanz is 3 km from the old town and Konstanz Harbour. There’s a bus stop just a few metres away and the nearest train station "Konstanz-Fürstenberg" can be reached on foot in a few minutes.

Facilities

B&B Hotel Konstanz offers 100 non-smoking rooms. Alongside rooms with double beds for 1 or 2 adults, there are also twin and triple rooms, as well as family rooms with bunk beds. All rooms include a desk, wardrobe and flat-screen TV. Soundproofed windows ensure a peaceful night’s sleep. In the bathroom, you’ll find a shower, toilet, hairdryer and a wash basin.

Additional services

Discover our B&B buffet breakfast for a perfect start to the day. There are snack and drink vending machines in the hotel lobby. Dogs are not only allowed in the hotel, but they are welcome to stay and can stay in your room for a small additional cost. In addition, there is now new: an electric charging station from the provider ChargeOne for your electric car, directly at the hotel. Here you can find more information about our charging stations.

Please note: The city of Constance levies a bed tax of 5.6% of the accommodation price from the first night. This will be charged at reception on arrival.

We are renovating for you.

From the beginning of November 2025 to the end of April 2026, we will be making our hotel even more beautiful and comfortable for you. Unfortunately, this cannot be done without renovation work. We apologise for any noise during the day. At night, you can of course continue to enjoy peace and quiet with us.

Directions to B&B HOTEL Konstanz

From the north via the A81: Exit Kreuz-Hegau (40) on the B33 direction Konstanz, direction Meersburg exit, at the roundabout first exit (Reichenaustr./B33), right on Stromeyersdorfstraße, the hotel is after 300 m on the right.

From the A7 and from Munich via the A96: Exit Sigmarszell (3), right on B31 direction Flughafen/Friedrichshafen/Lindau/Ravensburg via Friedrichshafen to exit B33 direction Konstanz/Daisenburg/Meersburg, at the roundabout third exit (Stettiner Str./B33) to the ferry pier Meersburg, take the ferry to Konstanz, left on Stromeyersdorfstraße, the hotel is after 300 m on the right.

Bus/train: From the train station take the RB in the direction of Engen to Fürstenberg.

Tourism and Energy Tax of the City of Konstanz

Since April 1, 2023, the City of Konstanz has been levying a tourism and climate protection tax for overnight guests throughout the entire city area. The levy applies to all accommodation guests, with the exception of minor children up to the age of 17. The tourism and climate protection tax must be paid on site upon arrival. The amount of the tax is 5.6% of the total price of the accommodation service per room. The hotel must remit the collected fees to the City of Konstanz based on the guest documentation.
