Reckless and Ruthless ![trustyou]()
I've been to this Hotel every week---I'm a very easygoing person, I don't complain even when there are some annoying problems. There was a construction service, the noise wouldn't let me sleep or focus on studies, despite these issues no discounts were offered and I still didn't bother to complain. Once there were cups and towels missing in my room, I still didn't complain and found a solution myself. However, I tried to make a reservation, since I'm there every week and they were supposed to know me---I don't have a credit card, I can't manage to make the reservation in any other way; Therefore, I'd rather pay at the arrival... When I tried to reserve I was told it was not possible, I sent e-mails and explained my case and they were very informal and didn't even bother to answer my last one. I tried calling and didn't work, when I got there, there was no nightshift and the machine was not working--- i was offered no alternative, no solution and no explanation. It was quite hard to find a different Hotel for the same price with Night shift and I spent the nights on the street, as it was after midnight I wouldn't pay for a different hotel just to sleep 4 hours, but I was willing to pay there. Well now not anymore... If people thought about the consequences of their acts and were not so reckless, we would certainly have gotten a better world to live.

City tax
Tourism and Energy Tax of the City of Konstanz
Since April 1, 2023, the City of Konstanz has been levying a tourism and climate protection tax for overnight guests throughout the entire city area. The levy applies to all accommodation guests, with the exception of minor children up to the age of 17. The tourism and climate protection tax must be paid on site upon arrival. The amount of the tax is 5.6% of the total price of the accommodation service per room. The hotel must remit the collected fees to the City of Konstanz based on the guest documentation.
