Welcome to our B&B Hotel Köln-Messe in the unique cathedral city of Cologne.

Perfect for all trade fair visitors, but also for city travelers: the B&B Hotel Köln-Messe is not only one of the most popular travel destinations during the carnival season. The landmark of the city, the Cologne Cathedral, is of course one of the most famous landmarks. But as far as architecture is concerned, the city on the Rhine has much more to offer, such as the Forum Deutzer Dom or the Mediapark. There is a lot to discover in the city! Cologne's old town is also worth a visit.

Location

Thanks to the central location of the B&B Hotel Köln-Messe, you can easily explore Cologne. The Cologne exhibition center is around 2 km away and the Lanxess Arena can be easily reached on foot in just a few minutes. The Köln Messe/Deutz train station and another tram stop are also in the immediate vicinity. So you can easily reach all regions of Cologne. You can be in the city centre in less than ten minutes. Here you can stroll around, try one or the other restaurant or go on a discovery tour in a Cologne museum. If you are arriving to the city by coach, the hotel is a short walk away. The nearest stop is just a few metres away.

Facilities

109 rooms are available at the B&B Hotel Cologne-Messe. When making your booking, you can choose between a double room for one or two people, a twin or a triple room. We also have family rooms with a bunk bed to accommodate up to four people. Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, desk and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, hairdryer and washbasin. Of course, all rooms have air conditioning and soundproof windows.

Nicht zu Empfehlen

Wir waren insgesamt fünf Nächte in diesem Hotel und sind extrem unzufrieden. Zwei Tage lang funktionierte die Heizung nicht, was gerade in der kalten Jahreszeit absolut inakzeptabel ist. In den Zimmern gibt es keine Heizkörper, und vom Personal wurde uns lediglich gesagt, das sei eben so, draußen sei es kalt und man könne nichts machen. Eine solche Aussage gegenüber frierenden Gästen ist schlicht respektlos. Wir haben im Drei-Bett-Zimmer stark gefroren, und ich bin dadurch krank geworden bzw. habe mich stark erkältet. Auf wiederholte Nachfrage nach einem Vorgesetzten oder einer Servicenummer wurde überhaupt nicht reagiert. Das Personal war insgesamt kaum kooperativ. Zusätzliche Decken wurden uns zunächst verweigert mit der Begründung, die Decken seien „abgezählt“ und niemand könne weitere bekommen. Erst nach mehrfachen Diskussionen erhielten wir schließlich zusätzliche Decken – viel zu spät. Die Dusche war ebenfalls ein Witz: Aus der Leitung kam kaum Wasser, der Duschkopf war defekt und normales Duschen kaum möglich. Zusätzlich waren die Handtücher schmutzig, was hygienisch absolut nicht akzeptabel ist. Auch die Fenster sind undicht, sodass es die ganze Nacht gezogen hat und das Zimmer weiter auskühlte. Ein weiteres großes Ärgernis war das Parken: Für 10 € pro Nacht soll man einen Parkplatz bezahlen, ohne Garantie, tatsächlich einen Platz zu bekommen. Uns wurde sinngemäß gesagt: Wenn kein Platz frei ist, sollen wir ins Parkhaus fahren. Trotz bezahltem Parkplatz durften wir unser Auto nicht einmal tagsüber dort stehen lassen, obwohl wir aus beruflichen Gründen darauf angewiesen waren. Für jede Kleinigkeit mussten zusätzliche Gebühren gezahlt werden. Zusätzlich mussten wir ständig zur Rezeption, weil unser Zimmercode regelmäßig nicht funktionierte und wir nicht ins Zimmer kamen. Das war extrem nervig und zeitraubend. Ein Zimmerwechsel oder ein klärendes Gespräch wurde trotz mehrfacher Bitte nicht ernsthaft angeboten. Auf unsere Beschwerden wurde kaum oder gar nicht eingegangen. Für diesen Aufenthalt haben wir über 750 Euro bezahlt, was in keinerlei Verhältnis zu dem steht, was wir hier erlebt haben. Wir sind sehr wütend und zutiefst enttäuscht über den Umgang mit Gästen und werden dieses Hotel definitiv nicht wieder buchen und nicht weiterempfehlen.

From Frankfurt A3 to Dreieck Heumar (15) on the A4 towards Aachen, exit Kreuz Gremberg on the A559 towards Köln-Deutz to the end of the autobahn, turn right onto Deutz-Kalker Str., after about 150 m turn left onto Gummersbacher Str., after about 400 m the hotel on the right.
