Location

The accommodation is located directly in the (not passable) pedestrian zone in the center of Leipzig and is therefore directly in the Leipzig city center. The Old Stock Exchange and the Museum of Fine Arts are less than 5 minutes away on foot, while the Gewandhaus concert hall and Auerbachs Keller restaurant are less than 10 minutes away. Leipzig Zoo is just 1.1 km away. In the area you will find numerous restaurants & cafes which invite you to linger.

Facilities

The B&B Hotel Leipzig-City offers only modern & comfortable non-smoking rooms. You can choose between the following room types: Single, twin or double rooms for one or two people, as well as family rooms for three people. All rooms are air-conditioned, with soundproofed windows, a flat-screen TV and a desk. All bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet, hair dryer and wash basin.

I stayed at B&B Hotel Leipzig for only one night the checkin is very easy also no checkout so you can leave anytime w/o any hassle because u pay during check in the hotel is located in the central area so you have access to good restaurants and shopping options right outside the door. My only concern is that at around 4 AM in the morning the TV played itself the remote was rlly far untouched a tad bit spooky. Everything else was fine.

Unser Zimmer war bei der Ankunft nicht gereinigt, es lag die Bettdecke zerwirbelt auf dem Bett und der Müll war voll mit Sachen vom vorigen Gast. Nach erster Nachfrage wurde uns versprochen es zureinigen, es geschah jedoch nichts. Nach zweiter Nachfrage wurde sich gross entschuldigt, und am Abend kommen wir ins Zimmer und es war immernoch nicht gemacht. Erst nach dem dritten mal, wurde uns ein neues Zimmer angeboten...ohne irgendein Verständnis oder eine Entschädigung, welche bei so einem Service zu erwarten ist. Frühstück nicht zuempfehlen. Das einzige was funktionierte war der Check In/Out. Die Lage war auch gut.

Directions to Hotel Leipzig City

Directions if travelling from Berlin A9: Follow the A9 direction South and take the exit direction A14. Follow the signs in the direction of Leipzig/Flughafen Leipzig/Halle/A14. At exit B23, merge onto the B2 towards Leipzig-Mitte. Follow the signs towards Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (train station). Turn left at Am Hallischen Tor. There you will find a public car park. The parking garage is approx. 230m from the Hotel Leipzig-City. There are also parking spaces available at the Oelßner’s Hof parking garage at Brühl/Ecke Ritterstraße - just 150m away from B&B Hotel Leipzig-City.

Directions from Dresden A14: Take the A14 and follow the signs for Magdeburg/Halle/Leipzig. At exit 25-Leipzig-Nordost, follow the B87 in the direction of Leipzig. Follow Eisenbahnstraße and then Brandenburger Straße. Pass the main train station, then turn left onto Am Hallischen Tor. There you will find a public car park with an ample range of parking spaces. The parking garage is approx. 230m from the Hotel Leipzig-City. There are also parking spaces available at the Oelßner’s Hof parking garage at Brühl/Ecke Ritterstraße - just 150m away from B&B Hotel Leipzig-City.

Directions by bus/train: The hotel is located about 400m from Leipzig’s main train station. After Willy-Brandt-Platz, turn into Nikolaistraße. Follow the street in the direction of the pedestrian zone. The hotel is on the left-hand side.

City tax

From 01.04.2023, the city of Leipzig charges a so-called accommodation tax for overnight guests. The tax applies to all guests staying in Leipzig. Children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are exempt from the tax. The tax is defined by the city of Leipzig and the amount is 5% of the gross overnight price.
