A comfortable and affordable night’s sleep in the Bavarian town of Landshut.

Known for the ‘Landshut Wedding’ pageant, the Bavarian town has many culutral highlights to offer. For fans of culture, the Trausnitz Castle is a great place to explore – offering fantastic views over Landshut. The Trausnitz Castle also has its own museum, the ‘Chamber of Art and Curiosities’. Sports-lovers will also get their money’s worth, with the many cycling and walking trails on the banks of the River Isar. Furthermore, the historic old town invites you to stroll, and communities such as Altdorf or Altfraunhofen to feast. There are ample places to shop in the Old Town, as well as in the nearby Landshut City Centre.

B&B Hotel Landshut – location

The B&B Hotel Landshut is near Landshut Hauptbahnhof train station (450 metres away). The city centre can be reached in about 25 minutes on foot or in 10 minutes by bus from the main train station. We recommend you visit the restaurants Weihenstephaner and Cristallo.

Trausnitz Castle is also located nearby and can be visited either by car (about 5 km) or by bus (about 25 minutes). Thanks to the excellent train connections, a day trip to Munich is also an option (approx. 45 minutes each way).

Angenehmer Aufenthalt mit Verbesserungspotenzial bei Komfort, Frühstück und Buchung

Unser Aufenthalt im B&B Hotel Landshut war insgesamt sehr zufriedenstellend. Die Sauberkeit im Hotel und das Einchecken verliefen problemlos. Dank vorheriger Absprache konnten wir den Zimmercode direkt per E-Mail erhalten und so die Warteschlange am Automaten umgehen. Das ursprünglich gebuchte Zimmer entsprach nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen: Statt eines Doppelbettes war es ein Zweibettzimmer. Das Ersatz-Zimmer war größer und besser ausgestattet, insbesondere mit einem komfortableren Stuhl und Hocker. Der Lüfter im Zimmer sowie im Bad war unseres Erachtens sehr laut. Das Badezimmer war funktional, die Dusche angenehm warm und mit gutem Wasserdruck, jedoch gab es einige Punkte, die unseren Aufenthalt etwas eingeschränkt haben: Ein unangenehmer Geruch war im Bad wahrnehmbar, es fehlten unserer Ansicht nach ausreichend Steckdosen, Handtuchhalter und Ablageflächen, und das Toilettenpapier entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war solide, aber für Teetrinker, Menschen mit Kauproblemen oder empfindlichem Magen etwas eingeschränkt. Weitere Punkte, die den Aufenthalt für uns angenehmer machen würden, wären ein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer, bequeme Kopfkissen, mehr Steckdosen auf beiden Seiten des Bettes und im Bad, ein größerer Fernseher sowie eine effektivere Heizung. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt angenehm, wir sehen aber in Buchung, Badezimmer und Frühstück noch Verbesserungspotenzial. Wir würden das Hotel dennoch sehr wahrscheinlich weiterempfehlen.

Getting to the hotel

From Munich A92: Take exit 12 Landshut-West, turn right and take the third exit at the roundabout. Take the first exit at the next roundabout. There is a strong right turn after about 1 km. Stay on the main road and follow it for about 2 km. On the right side you will see the Oberndorfer Straße car park. Then take the first street on the right. Then turn left, the B&B Hotel Landshut is on the left and offers free parking.

Free parking is available at the hotel.

Bus/TrainFrom Munich Hauptbahnhof S-Bahn, RE or RB direction Passau/Landshut (Bay). B&B Landshut is only a few minutes’ walk from Landshut (Bay) train station. Take the underpass to the back exit of the station, towards the car park. Go right along "An der Überführung", after about 300m you will find the hotel on the left.
