Location

The train station is located just 1km from the B&B Hotel Wuppertal City-Süd. It is also exceptionally well connected to various motorway routes, thanks to its proximity to the B7. Many attractions such as the Old Town and the famous ‘Schwebebahn’ suspended railway are within easy reach on foot. 

Facilities

Our modern, well-equipped rooms can accommodate up to four people. All single, double and family rooms are equipped with a light-filled, tiled bathroom, including a shower, washbasin, hairdryer and toilet. The rooms are also soundproofed and equipped with air-conditioning, to ensure ambient temperatures even on the hottest days. All rooms are also equipped with an LCD TV, a wardrobe and a desk.

Gutes Erlebnis

Die Heizung bzw. Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht, wodurch es über Nacht besonders für die Kinder sehr kalt war. Die Türen waren zudem sehr breit und ließen sich nur schwer öffnen und schließen. Als Erwachsene konnten wir sie nur mit viel Kraftaufwand bewegen, für die Kinder war das jedoch kaum möglich. Da das Zimmer als Familienzimmer bezeichnet wurde, war das besonders unpraktisch. Wenn die Kinder nachts zur Toilette mussten, mussten wir entweder aufstehen, um ihnen zu helfen, oder wurden durch das laute Geräusch der Tür geweckt, die sich nicht richtig schließen ließ. Als negatives habe ich schon angedeutet, jedoch möchte ich noch etwas hinzufügen. Höchstwahrscheinlich sind die Türen neu, da vor der Tür auch eine Tür stand. Mann sollte sie einstellen damit man die Türen gut auf und zu machen kann. Ansonsten hat man sich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Alles war ordentlich und sauber, auch die Toiletten waren sehr gepflegt. Das Hochbett war für die Kinder ein echtes Highlight – unter anderem deshalb haben wir dieses Zimmer gebucht. Ich benötigte ein Bügeleisen und habe an der Rezeption danach gefragt. Mir wurde sofort und sehr freundlich eines zur Verfügung gestellt, das ich am nächsten Morgen wieder zurückgegeben habe.

Directions to Hotel Wuppertal

Via A1: Take exit 93 Wuppertal-Langerfeld, then follow the B7 for approx. 8km. Turn right onto „Am Wunderbau“ street. The B&B Hotel Wuppertal is on the right hand side.

Bus/Train: The B&B Hotel Wuppertal is just a few minutes walk from Wuppertal’s main train station. Leave the train station and walk in the direction of the town centre, and walk along the B7, crossing Hofauestraße, followed by Morianstraße and continuing for around 700m until you reach the hotel’s street, Am Wunderbau. The B&B Hotel Wuppertal is now on the right side.
