You can do better

We specifically booked this B&B Hotel based on its excellent position and our positive experiences at other B&B locations across Europe (Mantua and Pomezia to say the latest 2). Regrettably, this stay was deeply disappointing. The hotel's environmental claims are overshadowed by poor service, reaching levels of absurd greenwashing that directly impact guest comfort. - Initial Cleanliness: Three out of four rooms booked were not adequately cleaned prior to our arrival. - Cleaning Policy: The policy stating rooms "are not cleaned because hosts don't need it on a daily basis" forced us to actively request the service, which was ultimately ineffective. - Room Temperature: Rooms were excessively hot. We had to resort to switching off the heating and opening the window, which negates any claimed environmental benefit from the no-cleaning policy. - Refund Delay: A clear error during check-in led to us being charged a pet fee, despite confirming the dog was not with us. Two days later, after being directed through multiple steps (colleague, email), we are still waiting for supervisor "Sharon" to process the refund. - Technical Issue: Our key card had to be re-magnetized twice, suggesting outdated equipment. On the positive side: The location is outstanding, and nearby parking is convenient. The breakfast was a highlight, offering great variety, though options for gluten-free and non-cow's dairy products were limited.

Dear Francesca, Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay. We sincerely apologize that three of your four rooms were not properly cleaned upon arrival. This should never occur. While we do offer an optional cleaning policy aimed at reducing environmental impact, this should never compromise comfort of our guests. Your feedback has already been shared with our housekeeping and management teams to ensure immediate corrective action. Thank you for highlighting the issue with the heating. Temperature is adjustable in the room on the heating appliance however it does take time to cool off. We regret the inconvenience caused by the incorrect pet charge and the additional steps you had to take to resolve it. I can confirm that the 30-euro refund has now been fully processed. You should receive it shortly, depending on your bank’s processing times. Your comment about the key card issue is also appreciated. We are currently in process of replacing door locks with different system therefore this wont be an issue in the future. We genuinely value your loyalty to B&B Hotels and are very sorry that this stay did not reflect the positive experiences you've had in other locations. How to reach B&B Hotel Ljubljana Park

From the airport

You can reach us from any of the nearby airports or cities with the GoOpti Dynamic Airport Shuttle. By clicking on this link you can book a transfer directly to our hotel from Venice, Zagreb, Trieste, Vienna, Ljubljana, and several other regional airports. 
You can also choose public transportation. There is a public bus going from the main station to the airport Ljubljana several times a day. For more information and time schedule please click the link.

From the train and bus station

The main bus and train station is located just 900m from our hotel. Upon exiting the train continue your path towards the underpass. Once you will exit the underpass in the direction of the city center you will see the big parking on your left, turn in that direction and continue walking until you reach the end of parking. There you will find an intersection and you continue your way in the direction of “Metelkova street”. At the end of that street, you will find a park Tabor (the church will be located on your right), you continue walking through the park and voila and at the end of the park you will see B&B Hotel Ljubljana Park.

With a car

Our hotel is located in the city center, but reaching it with a car is not as difficult as it may seem. To receive the best instructions on how to reach the hotel you can click the following link, and press “directions”. In the nearby area, you will find various ways to park your car. One of them is public parking on the streets (white lines), the price of which may vary (cca 0,70€/per hour). Only 3 minutes walk from the hotel you will find a private Parking garage Komenskega (Komenskega Ulica 30, 1000 Ljubljana), the price depends on the time spent in the garage (cca. 30€/per 24h).

With a taxi

If you would like to book your private taxi shuttle from Ljubljana airport to our hotel you can send us your inquiry to ljubljana@hotelbb.com. The taxi driver will pick you up at the scheduled time. The price of a one-way trip is 38 EUR / per taxi. Understandably it is also possible to take you back to the airport on the day of departure.
