For fans of culture, the Trausnitz Castle is a great place to explore – offering fantastic views over Landshut. The Trausnitz Castle also has its own museum, the ‘Chamber of Art and Curiosities’. Sports-lovers will also get their money’s worth, with the many cycling and walking trails on the banks of the River Isar. Furthermore, the historic old town invites you to stroll, and communities such as Altdorf or Altfraunhofen to feast. There are ample places to shop in the Old Town, as well as in the nearby Landshut City Centre.

The B&B Hotel Landshut is near Landshut Hauptbahnhof train station (450 metres away). The city centre can be reached in about 25 minutes on foot or in 10 minutes by bus from the main train station. We recommend you visit the restaurants Weihenstephaner and Cristallo.

Trausnitz Castle is also located nearby and can be visited either by car (about 5 km) or by bus (about 25 minutes). Thanks to the excellent train connections, a day trip to Munich is also an option (approx. 45 minutes each way).
