The city of Aschaffenburg, which belongs to the Lower Franconia, is located about 40 km east of Frankfurt am Main, in the beautiful federal state of Bavaria. There are numerous beautiful regions in the surrounding area. During your stay in the city you should definitely pay a visit to the two main landmarks, the Johannisburg Castle and the Pompejanum. Cabaret lovers will quickly link Aschaffenburg to well-known performer Urban Priol. Performances at his Hofgarten Cabaret sell out quickly - so make sure you book well in advance! Afterwards, they can round off the evening in a relaxed manner in the restaurant right next door - according to the reviews, it should taste excellent.

Location

Due to the central location of the B&B HOTEL Aschaffenburg on Ottostr., directly at the Aschaffenburg main station, you can easily explore the surrounding area on foot or by public transport. The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the shopping center City Galerie Aschaffenburg and Johannesburg Castle, as well as the Pompejanum are only 500 m away as the crow flies. Ein empfehlenswertes Ruhekissen für unterwegs

Das gut gepflegte B&B Hotel ist unmittelbar am Bahnhofgelände angrenzend, aber sehr ruhig gelegen. Der Rezeptionist freundlich beim Check in und die Ausgabe des Zimmerschließcodes rasch erledigt. Das Zimmer im ersten Stock war sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet und durch eine eigene Klima-Deckenheizung nach belieben zu temperieren. Ein Kleiderschrank wurde, für Kurzaufenthalte ausreichend, durch mehrere kleine offene Regalablagen ersetzt. Der Duschraum mit WC und Waschtisch sauber und hell. Die Geräusche vom Hausflur konnten zum Teil im Zimmer wahrgenommen werden, die Gäste hielten sich aber an die vorgeschriebene Nachtruhezeiten. Das Frühstücksbuffet wurde von mir nicht genutzt, da ich auswärts privat versorgt wurde. Fazit: Ein gutes und sauberes Hotel mit hellen angenehmen Zimmern in zentraler Lage am Aschaffenburger Bahnhof und gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

About the A 3 Frankfurt-Würzburg: Leave the motorway at the Aschaffenburg-Ost exit and turn right onto the B 26 in the direction of Aschaffenburg/Goldbach-West. After 1.3 km, turn left onto Schönbornstraße and then directly right onto Auhofstraße in the direction of the center. After 1.4 km turn right onto the destination road Heinrich-Böll-Straße.
