B&B HOTEL Wrocław Old Town is an excellent choice for both tourists and business travelers. The property is located in the Old Town, at Rynek 9–11, in the former building of the Municipal Savings Bank, which impresses with its rich history.

This historic building was erected in 1930 based on a design by architect Heinrich Rump and is considered a true architectural gem, recognized not only by the people of Wrocław. Inspired by innovative urban planning concepts, the author created a structure reflecting the fascination with New York skyscrapers (such as the Chrysler Building, Rockefeller Center, and Empire State Building) of Wrocław’s building commissioner Max Berg, also known as the designer of the Centennial Hall. The building was constructed in the modernist style with Art Deco elements. Its interiors evoke associations with the grand ocean liners of the era, specifically the “Schiffarchitektur” style popular in the 1920s. To this day, original features have been preserved, including the bank’s operations hall and entrance area, the glass skylight, as well as lamps, railings, and balustrades reminiscent of films set in New York in the first half of the 20th century. Moreover, the building houses one of the oldest paternoster elevators (not in use).
