One of the 100 Plus Beaux Détours de France, Montargis (a four-flower award winner in the "Floral France" competition) is nicknamed “the Venice of the Gâtinais”. Its 131 bridges and walkways connect the streets crossed by Briare Canal, the Loing and numerous waterways.
