Nearby

The B&B Hotel Modena is located just a few stops on the bus (line 7) from the picturesque city centre, where you can visit several of Modena’s most important attractions, including three UNESCO Heritage Sites: the Cathedral, the Ghirlandina and Piazza Grande.
Modena’s vast artistic and cultural heritage is certain to tempt tourists to explore the historic city centre. The city offers visitors a wonderful mix of art, culture, tradition and good food, as well as kindness and hospitality from the locals. Begin your fascinating tour in the Piazza Grande, the beating heart of the city, towered over by the Cathedral and the Ghirlandina, the most iconic symbols of Modena, which are now classified as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The piazza is further embellished by the seventeenth-century Town Hall, the Clock Tower and the traditional architectural feature of porticos, which are a great place to take a stroll as they create a friendly social atmosphere. After you have seen everything in the Piazza, you can ramble through the pleasant streets and small alleyways that branch off in every direction. These ancient streets are full of lights, colours and shops, not to mention restaurants and eateries for all budgets, where you can sample Modena’s delicious culinary specialities, such as crescentine (small, round, warm flat breads), fried gnocchi and borlenghi (a wafer-thin flat bread served with a choice of fillings), local delicacies that are a wonderful accompaniment to the regions world-famous cold meats and salamis. The city centre, just a few minutes away from the B&B Hotel Modena, also offers a number of other interesting things to do, all of which are within walking distance of one another. The main sites include the covered food market, the Estense Gallery, the Ducal Palace and the Enzo Ferrari Museum. Later, you can spend the evening at a concert, ballet or the opera at the Pavarotti Theatre. This budget hotel in Modena allows guests to stay within easy reach of interesting tourist attractions for adults, but there are things to do for visitors of all ages, since it is also close to the Museo della Figurina (Cards and Stickers Museum) and the Novi Ark archaeological park, which are sure to entertain adults and children alike. Lastly, visitors can also go on day trips to the surrounding area, for example to the village of Rossena, dominated from above by Rossena Castle.
However, Modena offers more than just cultural attractions. The city is a very diverse tourist destination, being important for the car world (as demonstrated by the presence of two Ferrari museums), the world of opera (the world-famous Luciano Pavarotti was born here), as well as being renowned for its culinary tradition (tortellini, Parmigiano Reggiano, balsamic vinegar, ham, zampone and cotechino are all traditional specialities of the city). Why not sample the best dishes from the local culinary tradition in the Michelin-starred restaurant of chef Massimo Bottura for a truly sublime gastronomic experience. All the attractions that the city has to offer can be found just a short distance from this budget hotel in Modena.
Modena is best known for its famous traditional balsamic vinegar, a high-quality condiment made of cooked grape must, from grapes that come from the Emilian region, which is aged for at least twelve years. If you decide to stay in this hotel in Modena, be sure not to miss the opportunity to return home with a useful souvenir in the form of a bottle of highly-prized Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
This hotel in Modena is also strategically located for those who wish to visit the historic Military Academy, close to the city centre.
For football lovers, this budget hotel in Modena is the perfect choice if you want to spend a Sunday at the stadium to see the historic Sassuolo team play; for music fans, you can see your favourite artist in one of the concerts or events organised in the Enzo Ferrari park, which was the venue for Modena Park in 2017.

Hotel pratico

L'hotel è a un paio di chilometri dal centro, la cosa positiva è la possibilità di parcheggio auto sia all'esterno che nel garage chiuso da un cancello. Camera pulita e accogliente, letto comodo. Hotel silenzioso. Bagno con comodo box doccia piuttosto grande.
