Spend an affordable night at the heart of Europe’s musical history

 

The famous composer Richard Wagner called Bayreuth home and left an indelible mark on the city. Here you can visit the Wahnfried - his former home - as well as the Richard Wagner museum. The Richard Wagner Festival attracts a large international audience every year. A museum has also been opened in honour of the composer Franz Liszt. The restored Magravial Opera house opened its doors to visitors once again in April 2018, now with its official status as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Location

The B&B HOTEL Bayreuth is right in the heart of the city. All of the most important attractions are just a few minutes’ walk away, such as the Magravial Opera house, the New Castle, the Wahnried, the Richard Wagner Museum and the Franz Liszt Museum. If you feel like some fresh air, the Hofgarten Park is just the place to take a break. The central train station is around 1km away. The Bayreuth Festival Theatre is about a 7-minute drive away, while the University is five minutes’ drive away.

Mooie hotel, schoon en ruimte genoeg voor verblijf. Spijtig erg harde bed. Ontbijt beetje aan magere kant gezien de prijs voor de overnachting. Parkeerplaats om de hoek was super.

Wir haben spontan eine Nacht im B&B Hotel Bayreuth verbracht, auf der Rückfahrt von einer Geschäftsreise von Österreich nach Potsdam. Aufgrund schwieriger Wetterbedingungen und der späten Stunde (Ankunft gegen 23 Uhr) haben wir uns kurzfristig für eine Übernachtung entschieden – und waren rundum zufrieden. Zum ersten Mal haben wir den Check-in am Automaten genutzt: sehr intuitiv, unkompliziert und problemlos. Das Zimmer und insbesondere das Bad waren makellos sauber, das Bett sehr komfortabel. Ein ganz großes Plus ist der Check-out bis 12:00 Uhr! Da wir erst spät angekommen sind, war es besonders angenehm, ohne Zeitdruck ausschlafen zu können – ein echter Mehrwert. Das Frühstück im Hotel haben wir trotz des attraktiven Preises nicht genutzt, da wir die Gelegenheit ergreifen wollten, durch die wunderschöne Bayreuther Innenstadt zu spazieren und in einem der nahegelegenen Cafés zu frühstücken. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels lädt geradezu dazu ein. Ebenfalls sehr positiv: das Parkhaus in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Insgesamt ein äußerst angenehmer Aufenthalt – Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis top. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
