Jena, a multifaceted city of lights in Thuringia with many sights in Jena and the surrounding area. Get an insight into astronomy at the nearby Zeiss-Planetarium. Or explore one of many hiking trails and enjoy wonderful views across Jena. In just a few minutes you can walk from the B&B Hotel Jena to the Saale, which is ideal for a short walk. Here you can visit one of the many cafés or delicious restaurants and discover real Thuringian specialties for yourself. For sports enthusiasts it is worth watching an event of the most popular football club Carl Zeiss Jena.

The location of the B&B Hotel Jena

The centre of Jena can be reached easily from the Spittelplatz bus-stop, which is just 100m away. Train or bus lines 1 or 4 will take you to the city center in a few minutes and to the Jena Paradies train station in around 6 minutes. By car, the hotel is 15 minutes away from the A4. Neighboring cities such as Weimar and Leipzig are also in the vicinity.

The equipment of the B&B Hotel Jena

The hotel has a total of 100 rooms and can be found in a quiet location. When booking, you can choose between rooms with double beds for 1 or 2 people, twin rooms or family rooms for up to 4 people. Wenn nicht durch die automatische Lüftung der Qualm der (direkt vor der Lüftung befindlichen) Raucherecke im Zimmer gestanden hätte, wäre es ein sehr guter Aufenthalt gewesen. Sauber, gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, sehr zentral gelegen.

Mein Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, das Personal ist total lieb und freundlich. Die Teppiche und der Staub kann noch verbessert werden, aber sonst Top Hotel.

Freundliches Personal, Zimmer und Bad viel zu kalt, uneinheitliche Standards (Hund durfte nicht zum Frühstück mit, in einem anderen B&B Hotel jedoch schon.

Directions

From all directions via the A4 motorway, take the Stadtrodaer Straße / B88 exit, continue in the direction of Jena-Zentrum/Naumburg, straight ahead on Stadtrodaer Straße (B88), after the Saale bridge turn right onto Am Eisenbahndamm and Am Anger. The B&B Hotel Jena is about 1 kilometer behind the Saale crossing on the right-hand side.

Downtown Jena can be reached by car or public transport in just a few minutes.

Bus/train: about a five-minute walk from Jena Saalbahnhof. Alternative: via Jena Paradiesbahnhof with tram line 4 or 1 (direction Naumburger Straße) to the Spittelplatz stop. From there it is only a two-minute walk.
