The Frankfurt area of Niederrad, south of the river Main, has evolved into a separate business district within the city, beside the Messe exhibition centre. In summer, the promenade along the Main is a particularly pleasant and relaxing place to go for a stroll. There are also numerous restaurants serving international cuisine in the area. But also the city of Frankfurt with the shopping center MyZeil and the Elli-Lucht-Park are popular destinations and well worth a visit.

"Our tip for you is the new old town. A total of 35 houses were built and reconstructed in historical style. However, only two of the replicas, the famous Renaissance building "Golden Scale" and the "Red House", have been restored.

Gutes Hotel für Geschäftsreisen

Das B&B Niederrad ist zumindest außerhalb der Messezeiten sehr preiswert und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind nicht besonders groß, was aber bei einer Geschäftsreise nicht stört. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Zimmer sauber. Besonders gut war die Möglichkeit zum online Check-In, durch den man den Schlüssel Code für sein Zimmer erfährt. So kann man unabhängig von den Rezeptions Zeiten anreisen.

Directions to Hotel Frankfurt Niederrad

From Frankfurt Junction (A3 / A5): A5 direction Kassel / Hannover, exit (21) Frankfurt-Niederrad, turn right onto Schwanheimer Ufer, then right onto Lyoner Straße and right onto Goldsteinstraße, then left onto Colmarer Straße. If your navigation system cannot locate Colmarer Straße, enter the address Goldsteinstraße 238 and turn left into Colmarer Straße after about 10m.

A5 direction Frankfurt Junction / Basel Airport: Take exit Frankfurt-Niederrad (21) and turn left into Straßburger Straße, then turn left onto Lyoner Straße before the Nestle building. Follow the street around (in an S-shape) and at the next intersection turn left onto Goldsteinstraße. Then before the motorway bridge, turn left onto Colmarer Straße. If your navigation system cannot locate Colmarer Straße, enter the address Goldsteinstraße 238 and turn left onto Colmarer Straße after about 10m.

Bus / train / tram: From the main train station, take the S8/S9 in the direction of Wiesbaden until the Niederrad stop, then bus 78 (Mon-Fri until 9pm) in the direction of Rheinlandstraße until the Goldsteinstraße stop. From the main train station take tram 12 in the direction ‘Stadion’ to the Triftstraße stop, then bus 51 (daily until 1am) direction ‘Industriepark Höchst’, until Goldsteinstraße stop.
