And despite the nearby airport, you’ll sleep soundly after a busy day at the Messe in Stuttgart’s industrial heartland, thanks to our sound-proofed windows. The Swabian capital also has plenty to offer holiday-makers, especially car and motorsport enthusiasts. In addition to Swabian delicacies, the city also offers a host of attractions and shopping locations. For bigger family expeditions, a visit to the fairytale Lichtenstein Castle is ideal — this is around an hour away by car, and a brief detour on the return trip to the designer outlet-city in Metzingen is highly recommended. If you need some relaxation, then it is also worth visiting the wellness oasis in Leinfelden Echterdingen. Here you can perfectly unwind, swim a bit or read a good book. You can reach them in just a few minutes by car. Afterwards you can end the evening in a good international restaurant or the bar next door.

Location

The B&B Hotel Stuttgart-Airport/Messe is located on Schelmenwassen Str. From the hotel, drive less than 2 km onto the A8. You are a maximum of 5 minutes away from the exhibition center by car. The inner-city and the beautiful Schlossplatz can be reached using the B27 in 15 minutes. The U-Bahn station Fasanenhof Schelmenwasen is just 300m away, and you can be in the city centre in 25 minutes. The EnBW City bus stop is in the immediate vicinity and from there the bus will take you to the trade fair in 20 minutes.

Wenn man 12 Euro für den Hund bezahlt, wäre es schön, wenn das Zimmer täglich gemacht wird. Ich brauche nicht täglich frische Handtücher, das Bett aber sollte gemacht werden.

Das Hotel ist OK, mehr aber auch nicht. Die Zimmer sind sehr eng, es wurde innerhalb von 3 Tagen Aufenthalt nicht einmal gereinigt oder ein Handtuch gewechselt. Tetra-Pak "kostenloses" Wasser - werde ich zukünftig drauf verzichten. Das Frühstück ist billig (von der Ware) und mit wenig Auswahl. Mehr als eine Nacht werde ich definitiv nicht mehr bleiben.

Directions

About A 8 Karlsruhe: Exits 52 a - 52 b to Stuttgart-Degerloch and Stuttgart-Möhringen, then switch to the B 27. On the B 27, take the Stuttgart-Fasanenhof exit. Drive on Hegelinstrasse and turn slightly right onto Schelmenwasenstrasse. Get into the left lane on Schelmenwasenstraße and drive to Zettachring. The B&B Hotel Stuttgart-Airport/Messe is on the right-hand side. Paid parking spaces are available.

Bus/train: From Stuttgart main station, take the U6 in the direction of Flughafen/Messe and get off at ENBW/City or Schelmenwasen. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk away.
