Kiel Town Hall
In the middle of the city, on the old market square is Kiel Town Hall. A medieval building was replaced with today’s Art Nouveau-style town hall in 1911. The Kaiser himself commissioned the town hall’s tower, which is based on the Campanile Bell Tower in Venice. At 67 metres high, there is a viewing platform, which offers wonderful views over the city. You can reach the platform from May to September, on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 12.30.
