Quick and easy hotel
Travelling back to France via Euro tunnel and had car issues so we decided to stop overnight. Found this hotel last minute on the BB website l. We were not disappointed. A short drive from the Eurotunnel, secure parking, and a clean warm room with a comfortable bed. Easy to check in. Automated entry to the room. Room basic but everything you needed was available. Opted for breakfast and the staff on duty were friendly and helpful. Good budget hotel

Les.hoteliers sont extraordinaires. Que demander de plus que d'être reçus presque comme des "amis"😁 Ce jeune couple tenancier de l'hôtel est top et quel plaisir d'y revenir ☺️et on reviendra. On y va avec du plaisir et de la sérénité 🙂 L'hôtel est situé près de Calais, d'escales de bleriot......et près de sangatte où nous aimons y aller car nous avons un chien. Merci à Clara et Charles pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. L'ampathie est tellement indispensable que là on ne peut pas la manquer, c'est magique d'y séjourner, on s'y sent comme chez soi👏 Nous reviendrons dès que possible et avec grand plaisir❤️

FURIOUS
I have been a faithful, happy customer for more than 20 years, for these reasons: 1. Location. Coquelles restaurant, pharmacy, dog walking environment. 2. Ground floor 'limited mobility' rooms. Walk-in shower and more floor space. Good when taking dogs, and now needed because of medical problems. 3. Friendly, helpful staff. I book directly rather than through third parties, assuming that this reduces the franchisee's overheads, and ensuring that my needs are met. On this latest visit, I was told that my usual booking, made two weeks previously at the same time as my UK-bound outward voyage, had been transferred to a 2nd floor room in order to accommodate a group that had booked a multi-day stay that week, who had all been placed on the ground floor. I was told that hotels in Calais should be able to offer suitable accommodation, but refused to investigate this option because my priority is always the Coquelles location. If there had been an unavoidable reason for being unable to honour my reservation, I would have cancelled it and found alternative accommodation in Coquelles. When I protested, the woman aggressively defended her actions and told me that if I had mobility problems, I should book into a hotel with a lift. That was inexcusable behaviour. I only just restrained myself from slapping her face. A serious mistake was made, but it was very badly handled. Please don't do that again, because B&B Coquelles is still my hotel of choice when using Eurotunnel.

Solo traveller stay
3rd stay here, for proximity to Euro Tunnel, as well as petrol station and bakers just up the road! Bed very comfy. Bathroom a little small (limited space to put toilet bag etc..) but sufficient for an overnight. Online check-in very practical, with room number plus door code received by email. Worked great as I arrived just after reception closed. Room 212 : just needs a dust web removing from above the tv.
