The B&B Hotel brand has been conceived, created and developed by the French company, Galaxie SA. The innovative concept is targeted at the budget sector of the hotel market and baded on the idea of “a generous offering at a reasonable price”. Catering for the needs of both the business and the leisure guest, the B&B Brand sets out to demonstrate that being “low cost” does not have to be without attention to style or desirability.

Within just 10 years B&B Hotels Group has conceived, created and developed the B&B Hotel concept. The innovative concept is centred around “a generous offering at a reasonable price” and is designed to meet guests'needs, whether their purpose of their stay is for business or leisure.

Lionel JACQUEMIN

Administrative and Financial Director
Lionel Jacquemin qualified at ECS Montpellier, and started out in the hotel industry as management controller with the Citadines group.
In 2001, he joined B&B to occupy the same post. He was appointed Director of Financial Management Control in January 2004, prior to becoming Administrative and Financial Director for the group in November 2005.


 
     

Laurent BONNEFOUS

Business Development Director
Laurent Bonnefous is a specialist in hotel financing operations, and began his career as auditor for the Accor group. After 4 years in a hotel industry financial engineering company, he returned to Accor to take charge of finance management for the Ibis brand. In 2000, he was appointed Business Development Director for France, and then one year later, for Europe – for four separate trade names. In 2002, he became Business Development Director for Europe for budget hotels. He came to B&B in January 2006.

 
     

Hubert BRUZAC

Network Director
Hubert Bruzac began his career in the chain hotel sector at Bradford’s Novotel in the UK. He moved rapidly away from catering and towards management, overseeing the opening of several hotels around the globe, before joining the Accor's consumer service. In 1990, he was instrumental in creating the B&B concept, becoming the group’s first Director of Operations. Following this, he headed the Technique and Development Department, and became Network Director in 2003.

 
     

Marco PIMENTEL

Marketing and Sales Director
After a degree in business administration, Marco Pimentel started his professional career in Brazil where he developed service activities such as temporary work, luncheon vouchers and gift vouchers, before being in charge of the launch of the “Parc Astérix” in France. Marco Pimentel then joined the Accor hotel business in 1993; he first managed the Ibis brand, then the economical brands and finally the whole range of Accor hotel chains. In May 2007 he joined B&B at the head of the international marketing and sales department of the group. He is also studying for a research degree in services at the Sorbonne in parallel.
 
     
jean luc jego

Jean-Luc JEGO

Director of the Technical Service
Jean-Luc Jego started his carreer with Accor. From 1984 until 1988 he was responsible for participated actively in the renovations of hotels in Afrika and invested in the same time in new hotels and renovations in Europe. From 1993 he participated took part in the developpement of the Etap brand in France and in 1997 started to work for the economy-service for Etap and Ibis brands for which he will be responsable for the opening of several hotels. In 2000 he started working for the Ibis brand. In january 2007 he joined B&B as Director of the technical service for the B&B Groupe.

 
     

Jean-Jacques LOHEAC

Information Systems Director
Following studies at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, Jean-Jacques Lohéac began his career in aeronautics in the “R&D Flight Tests” department at S.F.I.M. After a period at Alcatel Télécom, prior to entering Ilog (Nasdaq 97) – which is a world leader in software components, and where he carried out a variety of missions in the USA and in Asia. He has been responsible for all information systems and telecommunications for the B&B groups since 2001.

 
     

Isabelle KUCHARSKI

Director of Human Resources
With a Master’s degree of civic rights and human resources, Isabelle Kucharski filled in different functions in the management of Human Resources of American Express France and the European management of Carlson Wagonlit Travel; in 1999 she was appointed human resources manager of the group. In 2007, she was appointed Human Resources Manager for the group.

 
     
Sophie Leclerc

Sophie Leclerc

Head of the Legal Department
Holder of a DEA in Business Law, Sophie Leclerc worked for two years as a legal consultant with the European Commission in Brussels before starting down the path of Corporate Lawyer in LENOTRE firm. She joined the ACCOR Group in 1997 to perform the duties of Lawyer then Legal Manager in the tourism, casino and hospitality sectors. She had been in this same group since 2006 in the job of Legal Manager for the Europe, Mid-East and Africa Hotel Industry. Sophie Leclerc has been on the B&B Group's Executive Committee since October 2007 and brings to the group her expertise as a lawyer and her experience, particularly in supporting the Group's development projects.
