The staff at B&B St Quentin continue to give top of the range service. No complaints there what so ever. However it is time the company management realised that charging premium rates for phone calls is very off putting to all potential USA and UK customers. These days to attract potential customers businesses now use an "0800" number or at least a local charge number for both their booking department AND individual hotels. It is nice to see Premiere Classe now give local numbers for all their hotels!! Why not B&B. An answer from Head office would be appreciated.

After many many years of telling you just how bad the old wash basins were, we were very very happy to find that things have changed for the better. (for 12 years plus) . The quality of the room is equal to the Italian B&B in Faenza which was in years gone by a four star hotel. Well done we are more than happy with Hotel B&B. We will be staying in St Quentin B&B in September on our way home.

The new finish to the rooms and communal spaces is excellent and the staff must be complimented on their helpfulness and friendliness. Our only complaint is with the group as a whole - the use of premium rate phone numbers to contact each hotel and the central booking. In other countries they have discovered that the use of "1800" or "0800" free phone numbers helps boosts sales, in fact in the UK the use of premium rate numbers is officially dis-encouraged with at least a "local rate number" (which is part of one's free call allowance) is the norm these days. I notice that large part of you opposition hotel chains are also following this policy. Your comments please.
